It sounds like a PlayStation 3 version of The Witcher 2 hangs in the balance - does CD Projekt remake the same adventure again for a new audience, or does it build a new adventure for existing fans?

Alexander Morton, the Scottish actor probably best known for starring in British comedy drama Monarch of the Glen - but known to me for being the hilariously foul-mouthed dwarf Zoltan Chivay in The Witcher 2 and The Witcher 3 - has died aged 81.

The Witcher Trilogy bundle is currently listed with an 89% discount on Steam, and you can save over $60 thanks to this Summer Sale discount.

Daily Video Game writes: "Xbox Store has just launched two new digital game sales that heavily discount various Shocktober games, games from popular publishers, as well as Xbox 360 games that are backward compatible with Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One right now!"
Going to say no. And even if there is one I'm sure MS worked in a 6-12 month release clause into their own.
The thing I don't get is that this is an EU game, the PS3 is strong there, and still the devs aren't doing a PS3 version so far.
I would just leave the pc ports for next gen considering this gen is almost over with. I'm not playing psychic here, I'm just guessing since I don't see any real must haves after today's release of Twisted Metal, besides StarHawk. I don't think there's gonna be another GTA this gen. I wouldn't recommend Rockstar to invest any more on this gen when they can concentrate on a solid launch title release. Next gen could be huge with games like Uncharted, God of War, GTA, a new Fallout MMO, ect, ect,, as launch titles next gen. I know what I say seems far fetched, but if I was a publisher, that's the risk I would take.
Also, instead of having some crap DRM protection, just make online passes $20 bucks and games new for $49. I bet everyone would stop buying used. Might as well buy new.
I would like this to happen but somehow don't think it's going to. Hopefully Witcher 2 on 360 is successful so then there'll be more chance Witcher 3 is multiplatform.
I kind of doubt it ends up on the PS3. Maybe if it were a runaway success on the Xbox 360 you might hear something about it. I think everyone should be able to play this game, but then again, would people want to wait another year or possibly longer to get a PS3 version? Especially with all this next gen stuff in talks. It might not be worth it for them to port it over. It could get lost in the shuffle pretty easily.
Also, they have a huge PC hit, they will probably want to get back on and strike while the iron is hot and make a followup game.
So it's really a toss up, I wouldn't hold my breath though.
CD Project said they dont have the man power to make a PS3 version right now.
they have that new IP they announced, and the 360 version of Wither 2. they arent the biggest developer, size wise, so i dont blame them.
i do hope they change their minds though, everyone needs to play this game.
