DSOGaming writes: "Admit it. Most of you, PC gamers were simply expecting a small graphical increase over the X360 version of Alan Wake, right? Well, guess again. Remedy’s Markus has released a teaser comparison between the X360 version and the PC version (1080p in high detail)."

The game will be coming to PC however every Xbox exclusive that has made it to the PC, has been a major disappointment to me. Fable 3 being the last one. The experience is simply too dumbed down as if it was made for kids. Anyways i will be looking into reviews before picking this up for the PC.

Every Peter Molyneux game is simpler than the last tho, even back when he was making PC games. Black & White 2 for example was a shadow of the first game, replacing creature training with sliders for the most part etc. Fable the Journey seems to be the final step in the devolution of his games.

come_at_me_bro5211d ago

Yo don't count Molyneux out yet... I'm sure he can dumb it down more if he really tried.

Your so right!

every Xbox port to PC has just been HORRIBLE.

But then again Alan wake was a PC game in the beginning so maybe Remedy will break the mold of Horrible 360 to PC ports.

Kran5211d ago

Look into reviews for the Xbox 360 version maybe? Its the same game. Oh and FYI, the game received critical acclaim.

Wow, that is a HUGE difference. Makes the 360 version look pretty gross actually, even though I played that version and thought it looked okay.

john25211d ago

yeah, can't wait to play it. One more week to wait :D

*throws money at the computer screen*

ninjahunter5211d ago

Nuuuu, Why must my money come in later than launch T_T

kevnb5211d ago

There is always a visible difference except rare occasions.

A Late Look: Alan Wake

VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "All in all, it’s not hard to see why Alan Wake has received a bit of a cult following (there’s that famous foreshadowing again). It’s a title that blends themes and gameplay, while pushing the limits of storytelling by putting stories within stories and letting you read those stories before you get to that part in… the story. It has flaws, to be sure - the gameplay side can’t quite keep up with the rest of its ambitions - but overall it’s a great game that stands out among its peers and is undeniably… one for the books."

Kind of a goody story...

On a serious note, that is why I try activating gift cards asap. It's happened to me where the store didnt scan it right where the card was unusuable. Happened at Wally World.

gigoran8760d ago

wait, that place is real? national lampoon wasn't kidding?

jznrpg172d ago

People sometimes call Wal-Mart Wally World including myself

I just bought two of the MonsterVerse Godzilla movies on 4K - both had digital copies expiring in 2023. Both were actually expired.

I'd be surprised but it's WB, of course they'd actually expire them

Knightofelemia760d ago

Usually most of those redemption card have an expiry date on them. If they expired all buyer did was buy recycled paper. And some of those codes are country locked to certain countries. I buy a card from the States I can't use it in Canada.

Dumb and silly story. She wasted her money for no reason.

Is it really that hard to go to Steam or GOG. She spent $240, when its currently 70% off on GOG, and only costs $4.49.

Gee, I wonder, should I spend $240 on eBay, or $4.49 on GOG? 🙄

Rynxie759d ago

Most likely she wanted to resell a few or most of them. However, it was a too good to be true situation.

Profchaos759d ago

So in short she paid $240.00 assuming usd for a bunch on unactivated game codes.

I still don't understand why I guess cause there's not a physical version and she wanted something for a collection or art project.

Rynxie759d ago

No, most likely to resell. However, she ended up getting screwed.

Asplundh759d ago

This is Alan Wake 1, it had physical copies.
