Trials Evolution coming in Autumn

We've talked about Trials HD before and I think I have yet to convince some of you that the Xbox Live Arcade version is light years ahead of the sub-par Trials available on the PC. Perhaps when Trials Evolution hits the XBLA this Autumn you'll see I was right - if you aren't convinced by the trailer showing off the game's features below.

Jesus.. that's so far away. Damn!

Fred-G-Sanford5142d ago

I really liked Trials HD, but the retarded level of difficulty in the later levels completely ruined the fun for me.

That's why I play games, to have fun, so when a game makes it almost impossible to complete a level I simply stop playing it (and it makes me much less likely to purchase another one of their games in the future).

Wow, that is a long time, but the trailer says Spring.

Either way, it looks awesome. One of the few games I'm actually jealous isnt on PS3. Guess I'll have to dig my Xbox out and give it a burl when it hits.
PS The editor looks insanely good.

Man, I loved the first game so this will be day 1 just by looking at the trailer. Adding multiplayer is awesome. I thought it was coming out in spring or summer though.

Sure, there was online gaming back in the day but the modern age of online video gaming began almost twenty years ago with Xbox Live 1.0.

The origin of paid online.

PrimeVinister1673d ago

Lol it definitely deserves its mention

franwex1673d ago (Edited 1673d ago )

Haha. Yep. To be fair, I feel that it was actually worth it because it kept a good minimum standard. There was horrible lag back in the day and a lot of cheating/hacking. More so than today.

PrimeVinister1673d ago (Edited 1673d ago )

That is arguable seeing as how good similar PC services are these days. The lack of cheaters on console is the closed ecosystem rather than extra effort by MS/Sony

XbladeTeddy1673d ago

"To be fair, I feel that it was actually worth it because it kept a good minimum standard. There was horrible lag back in the day and a lot of cheating/hacking. More so than today."

The horrible lag back then was due to peole not having the speeds needed to run games, peoples internet speeds were all over the place. Hacking is as bad today, if not worse than back then. People now have access to sophisticated hacking programmes that were nowhere near as prevalent as they are today. Anticheat software was also available way before Xbox Live and the paid online services became a thing.

I gamed online a lot from 1999 onwards and had great times playing without having issues with people cheating and no one had to pay for an online subscription.

You forgot to add "thank God" at the end of the headline.

tomr29923192d ago

Indeed... Praise the Lord!

V0MIT_M0NSTER3192d ago

So glad that they won't mess with Banjo anymore.

-Foxtrot3191d ago

So you wouldn't want a proper Banjo-Threeie, Jade Empire or Kameo 2...really?

AZRoboto3191d ago

Or Crimson Skies. That was the shiz

FallenAngel19843192d ago

It's a shame we can't get another Banjo-Kazooie game

-Foxtrot3191d ago

Literally one that's called Banjo-Threeie and they start the game with Kazooie waking up in distress telling Banjo of a hardly nightmare while recapping Nuts and Bolts.

PhoenixUp3192d ago

Microsoft never could maintain a longrunning decent 3D platformers series of their own

AZRoboto3191d ago

I don't think "longrunning" is really necessary... Isn't Blinx the only one that got a sequel?

darthv723191d ago

Blinx needs to return if at least to show up Bubsy.

ninsigma3191d ago

Not sure if it was Xbox only back in the day but I'd love a current gen jet set radio!

Paytaa3191d ago

Jet Set Radio Future was only on Xbox. Fantastic game. Even better than Jet Set Radio for the Dreamcast in my opinion. Such a good soundtrack too

ninsigma3191d ago

Game was beast and deserves to come back on current gen. And hell yeah plus one for that soundtrack!
