This week Capcom shared its third quarter earnings report revealing release dates for numerous announced projects, including Resident Evil 6. Noticeably absent from the list was Ninja Theory's Devil May Cry reboot.

Devil May Cry 5 surpasses 10 million sales as Netflix animated series drives major surge in franchise popularity.

It's been six years since Capcom dropped Devil May Cry 5, but it's still more than worth replaying in 2025 thanks to its rich gameplay.
Because the anime is on Netflix and we gotta ride that DMC in the news again wave.
It’s been sitting in my backlog for a while now. One of the first games I wanted to try for this current gen due to the long load times of previous gen. I’ll get around to it soon!
Everytime its on sale I think about buying it but never do. I only played the orginal and somr of 3 so I guess that's part of it.

Steam's Summer Sale looks primed for Steam Deck players - with a huge collection of titles on offer for the handheld.
just cancel this crap game for gods sake!
Oh man have they actually gone and cancelled it? Finally a smart decision by Capcom. Provided it is cancelled and not delayed.
When the developer behind it doesn't even know what year Devil May Cry came out you know they don't have a clue what they are doing. Hinting to when the NT producer said its not the same as it was 12 years ago and it came out later than then. Doesn't even know the year it came out.

Aww.....I wanted to see it bomb today... :(
Capcom just suffered massive losses. They cant split their resources advertising this game with RE6 coming out.
I swear I really do beleive some you people are truly living the life of a stereotypical gamer, The fat 30 something still living at home with your parents, no girlfriend no job, no life other then gaming. either that or some of you are immature kids who don't understand that if a company put money into a game and it does not sell well it could possibly cause them to lay off causing people their jobs. I heard some people were even threatening the developer lives, that's just as ignorant as you can get and shows you have no life at all. If you don't like something just stay away from it.
