I agree both versions are great, no need to make this into a flame war, both console owners should just enjoy it.

Since when is everyone a color theory specialist? Once we get down to the point where the positive for the "dominating" system is only that it has "vibrant" colors, which is subjective. I think its pretty safe to say that everyone here can shut their god damned mouth about Burnout , and buy it for whichever system you want.

There are no performance issues. Thats what used to mater, not the temperature of the color scheme. Its amazingly laughable.

Remember first it was:

Multiplatforms are always going to look damn near identical. The exclusives are where the games outshine eachother.

I am SO SO SO bored of these comparisons. They are just stupid and blatantly trying to cause a stir. And it's so obvious what is going to happen - you get both camps trying to say their version is better. Who cares!! Just buy the copy for the system you have and live with it. If you've got both systems then you can choose between what controls for the game you prefer, if you want achievements or free online etc.

I petition to stop comparison video's on this site - especially when you get 20 for the same freakin game!!

and the framerate is better on ps3, its smoother, and the vibrancy is the same on each. My Dualshock 3 pad pisses all over the xbox pad, so im picking it up on my PS3, plus it means i'll not have to fork out my 3rd £39.99 on LIVE next year, im not paying for it AGAIN when i can play for free.

The game is ugly as hell. Doesn't look good at all.

But I do dissagree with #3.2 we've already seen better comparisons and they both look the same except the color.

The non crisp look in the 360 version footage is actually the difference in video quality vs the PS3 footage, all you have to do is match the amount of pixelation in both versions the 360 video has much more- more active dancing squares and bigger too(look at the sky(S) if you people need help understanding).

anyways,, if you wanna see proof that the xbox demo version is obsolete? Then watch the On The Spot on Gamespot.com,, The game totally lags during gameplay, the car stopped moving and the reviewer guy was going at almost top speed , it literally just stopped,, everything froze for like 3 seconds,,,, I dont even think he was playing multiplayer, and thats the sad thing. I got the ps3, and honestly,, I havent experianced any lag or loading issues with the ps3,, And EA said they made it for the ps3 first, and ported it to the xbox,, so what are you guys praising the xbox for now? Your own speculations? when sites make comments such as one version being more vibrant is the following, do they just switch between inputs such as 360 on component cables and PS3 on HDMI to tell the difference? It seems silly to think that just because the 360 seems more vibrant you can just hook up the PS3 and have the same effect without the need for some tweaking of the different settings.
I know when I got my new TV it took me a while to calibrate it to where I felt satisfied.
Just an observation I guess, but in the end it doesn't matter as I didn't find myself impressed with the game. It looks ok but nothing super special, I enjoyed the takedown etc, but I will wait until it goes down in price before I even consider picking this up.

ps3 version is looking better i watched the vdo 3 times and the ps3 version is better but there is a lil advantage over 360 version but no one will be able to tell the difference playing it but im sure the feel of both the games wil be different due to different controller.

Faster, but have to say yet again with EA's foot in the devs mouths the game is cack its like NFS Underground when it should be Burnout.

I compared both demos on my 1080p set, while they both look good, the ps3 version is undeniably sharper & more vibrant.

I belive the ps3 is much better than the 360 , just look at motorstorm. The very first game for the system.Colin dirt is also much better on ps3. Cod4 is just as good , xbox have been out longer and the ps3 is more difficult to program on. The next year the ps3 will rule.

The 360 gets the port but it will sale better. 3:1 sales ratio for sure. Why would a dev waste time making games for the PS3 right now? If I was banking on PS3 I would be making BR movies for it.

Can't help but Laugh. In all honest. If I was an xbox360 die hard fan....after looking @ Halo 3 I wouldn't dare to call any game ugly especially based on a Demo. Fact is Burnout Paradise looks good....very good. Your all ass hurt because its obvious it runs slightly smoother on the PS3 but this is not new information folks. Criterion said early this year that the PS3 is there lead platform they would be focusing more on that version. According to there original statement the PS3 final product should also have better physics as well because they are getting into the Cell CPU. Im not making this up these were words from Criterion themselves. If they are full of it then so be it. But don't get all up tight and bash an excellent game because its a not better on 360.

So again, the ps3 can't handle the 360 ports but the 360 can handle ps3 ports with easy. Unfortunately the game looks to be the worst one of the series.

I wish they would've just stuck with tracks, instead of a city.The only whole city racing game, that I like is Midnightclub.The demo was cool but I miss the old burnout.I also miss aftertouch!

After experiencing both versions. Dark Sniper has come to the conclusion that the PLAYSTATION 3® version is the superior version of Burnout. PS3 was chosen as the lead development platform. It's painstakingly obvious that the XBOX 360 version has bland colors, and jaggies that will skew your views and opinions about the system.

Dark Sniper would also like to reiterate that in order to play the Burnout demo and to download it on day one for XBOX 360, you must purchase an XBOX Live gold membership for 50.00. That cost is what you will need to have "the choice" to maximize your gaming needs on XBOX 360.

PLAYSTATION 3® recieves the aformentioned features at no charge as an appeasement and thanks for those who have purchased a PS3. Clearly statements are being made about Microsoft's shoddy customer service.

LOL, just laughing at the reviewers comments, when has "more vibrant (colors)" been worse than "softer" ?!? Softer means less resolution, less sharp... that is not a good adjective to promote superiority over "vibrant". WTF is "smoother" graphics ? Just my rant for the day regarding the comments only...

Personally, I think it looks pretty much the freakin' same like every other multiplat. The only thing to ever worry about with the PS3 version is framerate... if it RUNS smoothly, then they are equivalent. Merry Frickin' Xmas - Enjoy Yur Game.

It should sell more copies on the 360, but racing games tend to sell better on playstation systems.

But i was surprised to learn that cod4 has sold to date( from vgchartz) of all places:0

sort of same thing for assasins creed

I would have expected the 360 to have much higher sales for those titles, and was surprised at the ps3 numbers so far.

lastly, also surprised at the numbers for pro street.

strangly enough, pro street is starting to sell better on the ps3, these are the weekly numbers.

360 - 58,013

both at week five.

These are worldwide numbers for all games mentioned.

So i'd say that Burnout will sell better on the ps3.

Is it just me, or does Burnout Paradise play a lot slower than past Burnout games?

I downloaded the PS3 version not the 360....The video they are using looks terrible...the game looks flat out good...And it is addictively fun..The multiplayer is pretty cool....

When I get my 360 back I'll do my own comparison. So far my observation is that the 360 consistently delivers brighter, more vibrant colors on multiplatform games. It happened that way on Assassin's Creed, too.

So far I've only played the demo on the PS3 and it is very fun. I'm looking forward to trying it on the 360. I really do like having a choice between platforms.

Instant classic! Platinumed it twice and ran it yet again for some cheevo love on XB. Arguably influenced another series I respect in Forza Horizon. Can’t be denied.
