My 65 year old mother has been a PC gamer since 1997 and she's no geek. Things were a lot more complicated back then, but if she could do it, surely you can as well? Especially these days where things are plug'n'play for the most part and all you need to do when things aren't, is to do a Google search or visit a forum.
