I remember hearing about this game back when I was in high school. I'm a third year college student.

If it has been in development for THIS long (possibly longer), then everything can't be going well as they claim

I kicked so much ass playing Duke 3d in high school in electronics class. It was awesome.

come on guys give em a break. the build theyre talking about has only been in development since like 2003 or something... i believe that this game will be totally worth the wait... and imagine all the wasted money! geez

"everything is going well" = We made enough money on the previous game so now we are just drinking booze all day long and doing hoes in our office. Once the money starts dwindling then we'll focus our attention on the game and teh technology/hardware available at that time to use.

"six months since my last update" = the coke addiction really got to me and had been stoned for last six months. Just got out of rehab now so here is the new post.

mabe if he said things a NOW going well but to say things are still goning well? When was this game ever making good progress. I remember seeing screenshots of this game while it still used the quake 2 engine or some old ass crap. That was about 7 years ago give or take a few years. I gave up on this a long time ago I wish thed stop lying to us and just make a port of duke 3d for the live arcade already. pretty sure it will come but who knows when, mabe right before they release this game, in other words never. If they arnt showing us stuff now then when do they want to shoow us. If they had something good theyd probaly show it, i mean haow many early ass screens did we get with the games many different builds before. Is what they are doing now really that bad.

How long does this duke nukem is in development its been almost 10yrs. I reallyy like duke nukems multiplayer in the ps1 ah the good old days.

This game is a guilty pleasure.

As usual it's a story of one egomaniac that chased perfection to near bankruptcy trying to follow industry trends and engines instead of just putting out a good albeit flawed game in 2001. It had to be the best and ended up as the most average game I've ever played which felt heavily dated on day 1

A big middle finger from the past to all the woke culture, we miss you Duke.

It took forever so I doubt it can be since it took so long. Even an AAA game in development hell that takes long will look and play pretty dated 90% of the time. The toolset and options with the lighting makes it better, but the gameplay was just meh.

Game is garbage. Realistic Ness destroys a game like this Duke can only hold two guns what a joke. I’d rather wash 2001 Duke Newcomb Forever trailer then play this game again. It’s a shame I’ve been waiting for duke nukem forever 2001 for a long time they should’ve just released it and not worried about having the latest game engine and just did their thing

DKF is the worst shooter I've ever played. The only thing it was "ahead of it's time" in was being released as a complete craptastic disappointment that wasn't worth the hype or the wait.

I actually did enjoyed the game for a bit. I got it in a sale for like $5. It has some fun moments. I would encourage trying it out.

If they just released the original build the series might still be relevant today.

But of course, the lead designer/project lead had to be pretentious and think he was the god of the games industry of the time.
