Don Parsons writes: "When shooters took RPG elements and added them to the mix, it was an evolution in the genre. That “just one more game and I’m sure to unlock (insert weapon/attachment/camo here)” mentality is an addictive quality for shooters. Few have mastered the progressive tree of unlocks, but two big franchises you can count on are Call of Duty and Battlefield. They both offer incredibly deep unlock systems that can cater to various individuals. I’ve sat down and spent some time (3 hours to be exact) with both games and jotted down some numbers to share."

Battlefield 3's former Lead Designer has revealed that there were two cut missions from the main campaign
Get rid of campaigns, move the game to mobile, and try to compete with warzone. They would save time and money.

Players are using hacks to gain an advantage in the game, such as aimbots and wall hacks. The first gives a player superhuman aiming abilities, while a wall hack lets you see through walls to gauge where other players are.
“These hacks are typically used by PC players, but those playing on PC via Xbox Game Pass are identified as Xbox players in multiplayer lobbies.”
This is pretty dumb to say the least.
Don't Gamepass online games have anti-cheat systems?
If not, that's pretty dumb. Microsoft need to fix that asap.
I mean, COD games was always filled with hackers, nothing new. I can’t blame MS on this. Activision had years to try and fix this. Might take MS some time to make some change.
ugh an unlocks system even though is was first implemented by Dice in BF2 are NOT good for this game... well more so i guess its HOW they did it. BF2 they had very few unlocks and they took a lot longer so it helped towards the mentality of team play. Where as in BF3 you unlock a new attachment every 3 minutes and ribbions fly up into your face every other minute. It hurts the teamplay because players choose to play for their own gain rather than the team. If theyd simplify it out. Say.... only need to unlock each attachment once and make the gap between unlocking guns 6-10x more exp then people wouldnt go nuts over getting guns because its still a long time away.
