Android Rundown: I think we all have days when we feel besieged. Wave after wave of setbacks try to keep us down, and we soldier on. I may be going out of a limb here, but I think that’s why, subconsciously, defense games are so popular. A horde approaches to knock down your tower, and you are all that is standing between Good and Evil. It can be cathartic to take that feeling of overwhelming odds and turn it into a challenge to beat. And, specifically, to fire arrows at.

Much attention is often lavished upon the vast profits generated by the latest editions of today's biggest franchises. So much so, you'd think that this sort of financial success is something new. Actually, it isn't. Even during the very earliest days of video gaming, there were products that made mountains of money. The difference between now and then, however, is that back in the day, that revenue was earned one quarter at a time.

The Quality Index champions the best tower defence games on Android.

In their latest edition, the Official Xbox Magazine has again rated all new Xbox 360 game that have been released last month. Sonic the Hedgehoc is the only game that scores below average, the other rates are pretty good.

Only an 8 (though still very good of course) for Lost Planet, i would be ever so slightly dissapointed given the hype recieved. Will still pick up when it lands.
Lost Planet scoring lower (a FULL POINT lower) than Hoops 2K7 (which sucks ass, and is no different from 2K6) is complete bullsh*t. In reality, LP is probably an 8.5-9, and 2K7 a 7-7.5.
I didnt think much of lost planet. Acually I thought it sucked(both demos at least)So for me,an 8 is too high.
I really dont give them any credit after that.
I liked that it was the arcade version, we all played the NES version to death, but playing the arcade version was cool.
The tony hawk a 7.5?! game informer gave it a 9 and i have to agree with GI, project 8 kicks a$$ and is the best tony hawk yet. these reviews are crap.
