im all for dlc when its appropriate but isnt the whole point of an "ultimate edition" being the complete package, everything the game has to offer?

dumb. period.

Moerdigan5220d ago

I can't help to think what's going on with this as well.

Friggen Capcom and Bioware need to take a cue from Betheseda! *RAGE*

Captain Qwark 95220d ago

well if they did that then there game would only work 50% of the time lol maybe thats why bethesda creates such massive dlc, they have to make up for releasing a broken game to begin with

Ddouble5220d ago

Ultimate is much cheaper than the first edition though. They should make a pack at normal retail price with all the dlc and the game.

I just can't seem to understand Capcom in the past two years, they release 3 versions of Street Fighter IV (Regular, Super, Arcade Edition) plus DLC constantly for the game, then they release MvC3, tons of DLC. Then, they come out with Ultimate MvC3 that includes the DLC and new characters. And all of a sudden there is DLC for that game. This is overdoing it in my opinion.

ultimate mvc3 doesn't include dlc characters.

@lonvein

dlc characters will only appear if you bought them earlier when MvC3 came out. I don't buy dlcs either.

Ionvein5220d ago

I thought it did? Then again I still have the regular MvC3 game and didn't buy any DLC for it. My mistake.

Tonester9255220d ago

People are buying them. That's all that matters to them.

Ionvein5220d ago

I know that, it's just annoying that to get every character they release it almost comes out to a price of another game I could buy. But, it's not just MvC3 almost any game with multiplayer has DLC now.

Tonester9255220d ago

@lonvein I know. Unlike Back in the Ps2 and Gamecube days when games were full of content.

Deadpool6165220d ago

You still have to buy the Jill and Shuma Gorath dlc in the Ultimate Edition if you didn't buy them for the original release. Yep, that's Capcom for ya.

I just hope the dlc coming out now, isn't already on the disc. >:(

jc485735220d ago

do people even buy the dlc?

Knightofelemia5220d ago (Edited 5220d ago )

If it is the animal pack they should have used the other version of Wolverine. When he had the adamantium taken out of his body by Magneto. That version of Wolverine with the bone claws would have been better for this DLC he appears more animal like than Weapon X.

Capcom seriously dropped the ball with MvC Infinite. You can tell that it was heavily influenced by outside marketing that wanted to promote the characters in the MCU films only. The roster was lacking, the gameplay was slower than the previous game and there just wasn't a lot of the wackiness we come to expect.

Best Superhero Video Games Available Right Now

From Xfire: "A lot of video games are designed to make players feel like a superhero. However, very few actually feature superheroes or have players take on the role of a superhero. What makes this even worse is that there are even fewer superhero video games that can be considered good."
