I loved Resident Evil 4 back in the day and enjoyed Resident Evil 5 even though I had to do co-op to beat the final boss. Shiva was just too dumb.
Resident Evil 6 on the other hand, was so bad that I stopped playing after an hour in the game. That was before I even played any high-quality single-player games outside of Mass Effect, Portal, and Skyrim. I can't imagine playing RE6 now.
Chances are their next remake will be 5.
I just don't get why it's already on the platforms via BC unless it's a remake which would piss everyone off as fans are hoping for either the original game or code veronica to get the remake treatment

Why is everyone against the six player co op before it is shown off? It is most likely just in the Mercs mode. Sheesh, at least wait for some kind of details before you thrash the company.
Give us Drop in Co-op with no AI so that people who like to work alone and people who like to travel with friends all win.

Um Coop is one of the things RE5 did right, and amazing at that, it was an absolute blast, im not gonna play 6 player coop, but def 2 player so me and my fiance could have tons of more fun!
NO to the suggestion of "ROLES" in mercenaries mode! If you want that play ORC, this Resident Evil 6 (NOT SOME OUTSOURCED DEVELOPED SPIN OFF [HORRIBLE AT THAT]) mercenaries mode, is already set accordingly, each character has a SPECIFIC inventory, (i.e. weapons, healing items, grenades, ammo) with set combinations, suited for that character!
NO again to the merchant from RE:4 being present in mercenaries and or the campaign mode!! This isn't RE:4, it's RE:6, COMPLETELY "NEW" ENTRY!! It would be pointless to put any type of seller into mercenaries mode, you would be able to buy anything, with zombies and other BOW's trying to kill you!
Capcom knows how great RE:5's co-op was (Player/Player, 2 humans) so more than likely their following that same co-op model!! What this article suggest, would actually be horrible if added to the game!
