"A new patch arrived over the weekend bringing many changes, including a solution to the long standing memory usage issues. For those lucky players who have not been affected by the issues and have absolutely no idea what I’m talking about, for months some HoN players have been experiencing crashes due to changes in UI which meant that systems that used to meet HoN’s minimum requirements no longer did, resulting in a crash and a “K2 Exception” error message. Thankfully this has been sorted now, with optimizations and improvements made to the game client, memory usage should now be lower to avoid crashes. I suffered with this problem but since the patch I have had no issues, so those of us who are bored of seeing people complain on the HoN forums or do not have high-spec systems, we shall hopefully no longer be haunted by the “K2 Exception”, whatever that means."
