Player Attack: The Entertainment Software Association, representative body for the games industry and the behemoth behind E3, has ceremoniously dropped support of the Stop Online Piracy Act.

The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) has voiced serious concerns over the newly announced tariffs on imports from China, Mexico, and Canada, emphasizing their potentially harmful impact on the gaming industry. Given China’s significant role in gaming technology and production, these tariffs could have far-reaching consequences on both hardware and software, fundamentally reshaping the market.
Yes but consumers should be happy to pay more in order to make America great again.

Axel from GL writes: “Last week, a story in The Washington Post announced that the Entertainment Software Association has formally ended the Electronic Entertainment Exposition.”
The best thing I remember about E3 was when it became open to the public and the internet celebrities got upset because they were not exclusive anymore and had to wait in line longer.

A report by the Entertainment Software Association has found that 72% of children in the US want games-related products for Christmas, but only 22% have asked for physical games.
Kind of sad how times have changed
I remember circling games I wanted for Christmas in an Argos catalog.
Won't ever have kids but if I did, no kid of mine would be allowed to associate with such degeneracy! Raise your kids on NES games folks, the future is in your hands.
They won’t get it from me.
I told my kids I would buy them one card for Minecraft last year and when their points run out that’s it. I explained to them they will add stupid stuff to get money forever for little things not worth the money they are charging.
They don’t ask as they know it’s pointless to. I told them I’d rather buy them a new game than give them 5$ here and there for stupid skins and stuff.
Roblox is banned in my house.
I don’t have an issue with my kids as I made sure to not let it grow into one but I can see how parents don’t realize some of these games are money pits when their kids start playing them.
You should of drop the support when the bill first came out. The only reason the ESA is dropping support is because the bill is dead(not completely but its been put off due not having enough votes). They more than likely believe "its bad for business" nothing else.
Isn't the ESA a big driving force in SOPA's existence anyway?
It's funny seeing them be one of the last to pull their support. They better be preparing some apology speeches and hiring some good PR specialists.
ESA's got some asses to kiss, our asses.
We won the battle not the war!
ok people back to your normal life's!
I guess they want people to watch E3
