I loved Resident Evil 4 back in the day and enjoyed Resident Evil 5 even though I had to do co-op to beat the final boss. Shiva was just too dumb.
Resident Evil 6 on the other hand, was so bad that I stopped playing after an hour in the game. That was before I even played any high-quality single-player games outside of Mass Effect, Portal, and Skyrim. I can't imagine playing RE6 now.
Chances are their next remake will be 5.
I just don't get why it's already on the platforms via BC unless it's a remake which would piss everyone off as fans are hoping for either the original game or code veronica to get the remake treatment

i doubt it will live up to the expectations of the original resident evil fans.it will be passed over as another dumb down mainstream action shooter.the new trailer proved it's more based around massive appeal in my opinion.
A lot of Fans felt the series lost that survival Horror feeling in RE5. The hope is that with RE6 the game will bring back that heart pounding fear it use to carry.
Can you honest say that RE5 was truly scary? It felt more like an action adventure then a survival Horror.

if RE stayed the same and didnt make the change it did at 4...most of the fans or supports would have been like this game needs to change...its the same stuff slow zombies....now after RE5 you(most of the fans) say they need to go back to the old days....now that its here....u dont want it? im sure the story telling will be solid in this game...so will the game play..... only Capcom game im like maybe is ORC...but its going back to its old roots with some new tricks im sure it be fine....
I've never really found any game horrifying to begin with so as long as I have fun with the game, I will buy it. That's what games are for anyway.
