It's inevitable; franchises get stale. When this happens, and it will, what do you do? For your consideration; the gritty, impossible world of Pokemon: The Reboot.

The rejection is non-final (and even when such rejections are labeled as “final”, the process is far from over, given that there can be, at minimum, an appeal to the Federal Circuit).
Good, as they should! A game mechanic like that shouldn't be locked behind a patent, and Nintendo didn't invent it either.
Nintendo wants to keep wasting money on bullshit lawsuits, real smart in this economy. They should put that money aside for other game projects. On the other hand, I don't care if they waste it all either, and they are screwed in the future maybe that will teach them a lesson.

The Nintendo DS has some amazing titles available. Here are some of the best nostalgic games that every child of the DS era grew up playing.
I enjoyed both Rush games, I did think the action was sometimes too fast to see what was coming up in terms of hazards though, which meant replaying the same stage a bunch of times, other than that they were enjoyable, good special stages, 3D sections and bosses for the most part.
DS is one of the best consoles of all time. Such a rich library of software
Zelda were all glorious on it.

Nintendo completed its share repurchase and set its secondary offering price at 8,347 yen ahead of March 16 delivery.
I would play this game. Pokemon died to me after Red/Blue so this might be what it takes.
to me pokemon is fine as it is gen 5 was pretty lame as far as the the pokemon designs go(the only gen i have problems with the designs of more the 10 pokemon)The turn based battles is what makes pokemon enjoyable and if i want something different the spin offs cover that.
Now if pokemon does change i guess i would mind a strategy game or maybe something like paper mario(turn based but timing improves damage)
You can alway play Pokemon Mystery Dungeon for a new experience . It a dungeon crawler
Pokemon is ever evolving as a game but the core will remain intact or it's just not Pokemon. Now what they really need to do is create an MMORPG that can be played both through the Wii U and/or the 3DS. That's the type of freshness I want from this series. Classic formula, in global, human interactive, decent graphics, open world style.
Fun article to read though...
@IAmAMonster-
Have you ever tried a Nuzlocke run. It's like turning on hard mode for a Pokemon game. There are 3 rules-
1:You may only catch the first Pokemon on a route.Killed it? Too bad move on.
2:Any Pokemon that faints must be released or boxed. They are seen as dead and can no longer be used.
3:Nickname all Pokemon.Crazy as it sounds this makes it more painful when Bob the Mudkip dies(You can't ever use him again, remember?).
It might seem foolish to put these limits on yourself but it gives the game some new life. Also, enjoyed the opinion piece.Nintendo should let NIS make the next Pokemon game-Level 9999 Bob the Mudkip? Sure, why not?
Edit:In rule 2 I forgot to add-If all your Pokemon have fainted its Game Over.Delete your save data.
