The Globe and Mail: In the first two posts of this 2012 preview package we looked at software coming to specific systems, and many of these exclusives deserve some excitement. However, multiplatform releases will deliver most of the coming year’s video game magic.
With six or seven years of experience developing for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 (and porting these games to PC), many studios are primed to pump out high quality software for current generation hardware. This is one of the reasons we see annual instalments in popular franchises like Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed (both of which are on track to receive new entries next fall), and why 2012 could prove the most bountiful year for multiplatform gaming yet.

This February, Prime members can claim a fresh lineup of free games, including BioShock Infinite Complete Edition, Surf World Series, AK-xolotl: Together, Sands of Aura, The Talos Principle: Gold Edition, Stunt Kite Party, The Smurfs 2 — The Prisoner of the Green Stone, Hardspace: Shipbreaker, Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior, Dark Sky, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, El Hijo — A Wild West Tale, Colt Canyon, Republic of Jungle, Royal Romances: Cursed Hearts Collector’s Edition, Deus Ex: Human Revolution — Director’s Cut, Night Reverie, Sine Mora EX, Redemption Reapers and Yes, Your Grace.

To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.

Based on one narratively fitting ending in Mass Effect 3, Prothean squadmate Javik is highly unlikely to return in the next Mass Effect game.
He was one of my least favorite characters. I wish they would have done the Proths different.

I'm glad to see Lollipop Chainsaw get a mention. Looks like my XBox 360 will be busy this year.
