Mass Effect 3 PC Requirements Released

BioWare and Electronic Arts have released today, the official PC requirements for the upcoming game Mass Effect 3.

The requirements speak for themselves.

"Its a bullshit console port ... as always as regards the Mass Effect series "

Disagrees please.

^^^100% truth,it's sad since thought the unreal engine had support for dx11/features.

despair5232d ago (Edited 5232d ago )

lol, yea because dx11 is everything in a game right? Also since it doesn't support it then the game is just another "crappy console port".

Its funny to see people like you spouting this nonsense when you have no clue what you're speaking of. Low requirements are just that, low requirements, ME2 looked outstanding and it had similar requirements, so I think it will be another outstanding game for the PC, Bioware don't half ass it....most times.

Wow!! these system requirements are extremely low. DX9 so last generation EA. I might as well purchase it for my 360 instead such a disappointment.

Doctolul5232d ago

Right. Why bother with PC version if it doesn't have HD textures? May as well get it on xbox for half the resolution, a third of the frame rate, no anti-aliasing, longer loading screens and disk swapping. But hey it does have kinect features! Yuuuup.

bumnut5232d ago

And its 30% more expensive (at least)

Would dual 8800GTS handle this game? Also got 4Gb of RAM and a 3.2ghz AMD 6400+
I'm guessing it will be ok, I might need to build my cousin a new rig lol

Kalowest5232d ago

"NVIDIA GeForce 9300, 8500, 8400, and 8300 are below minimum system requirements"
You should be fine, you have dual 8800GTS.
Just play with the settings and you could play the game on med(or higher once the mod community get their hands on it lol)

No_Pantaloons5232d ago (Edited 5232d ago )

Recommended GeForce 9800 GT 512 MB or higher.... thats pathetic. That came out in july of 2008!

For minimum specs I wouldnt't care, that should be low, but recommended is supposed to be whats needed for playable high settings. So clearly it doesn't scale very high at all.

Guess its once again on the fans to push out decent graphics mods for subpar console ports.

SneeringImperialist5232d ago

My AMD FX-4100 4.5GHz and GTX460SuperClocked will be running at -10c with these pathetic specs lol.

Legion, Zaeed, and Jack are my favorites.

To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.

anast524d ago

They lost too much talent.

IAMRealHooman524d ago

some in andromeda are decent, I agree with peebee and Vetra being good companions. Except Liam he's trash tier

anast523d ago

He was one of my least favorite characters. I wish they would have done the Proths different.
