IGN: In the realm of gaming desktops, innovation is often limited to improvements made to raw graphics processing power. The goal for most manufacturers, it seems, is to build the biggest, baddest rigs around, but this week Alienware introduced the X51; a product that instead focuses on compact design, affordability and minimal performance compromises.

Alienware, a subsidiary of Dell, has today launched the official pre-order campaign for its line of ‘Oculus Ready’ PCs. Itself billing the machines as ‘VR Capable’, Alienware has two systems in the range at present based on Intel i5 and Intel i7 processors.
They offer $200 off the pre-order of an Oculus. That's awesome. Hopefully this line up of PC's are fairly priced. VR needs all the marketing it can get

Black Friday is over a month away, but the deluge of deals and limited-time offers has begun. Scanned images of what's purported to be Dell's upcoming Black Friday promotion have emerged, and -- if the leak is accurate -- there are quite a few deals to be had.
a dell black friday sale turns into listing exclusive games for the ps4 even though the ps4 isn't even mentioned.
anyways the xbox one for $299 is a great price and so is the 4k tv but $150 for a laptop is pretty tempting even though it's not a very good one.
Ive got plenty of games on my PS4. Both Consoles have great games and great exclusives. I dont limit myself because of silly fanboy crap.

T_T I like that PC companies are inovating in design, but this has no feasible use for its price, other than a console user magnet.
PC know it alls bbuut you can build one for x amoumt of dollars. See the thing is most average consumers don't have time or knowledge to build a pc thats where something like this might work for some people that just want a small mid range pc. But all the pc eletists will point out how smart they are cuz they can build a better pc for cheaper. So go do it already and have fun doing it. The average consumer dosen't care. Maybe you should embrace the fact that something like this may get more people into your hobbie instead of trying to make them feel dumb.
i detest the design of alienware cases. i also think their hardware is way overpriced - other suppliers e.g. scan, will do a more powerful pre-built rig for much cheaper and again, no horrid case!
