GamingUnion.net: "We've heard many people complaining about a lack of innovation within the video games industry at the moment due to a reliance on existing IPs. We've also heard publishers say that launching a new IP towards the end of a console generation is risky, because it's difficult to get noticed. That doesn't stop them from trying, but it's sad that their efforts fall flat and it means that the new IPs they try to make are often doomed to fail not long after they're announced."

Many overlooked RPGs lie dormant in the catalogues of gaming, but players can pick up their swords and shields with these amazing JRPG hidden gems!

Actually great list TBH I agree with all 10
I hope one day we get some remakes for the following
The saboteur(with a proper remake and quality of life features this game could be great)
Scarface world is yours
Binary domain ( such a great game with great story)
GUN(this needs a remake)
Space marine 40k(such fun time)
Would also like to suggest adding the mercenary series even the 2nd game which is disliked by many is a fun time
I recently finished Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine and found it to be very enjoyable.
The game respected the lore and the gameplay was quite decent.
The color palette was a bit underwhelming (backdrops and setting) and recycled but I think that it deserved better.
Here's hoping for an amazing sequel

Electronic Arts has announced a number of server closures in the coming months, including Apex Mobile and the 2012 Syndicate reboot.
Syndicate's big saving grace will soon be erased for good. I'll give *some* credit to EA in keeping servers up for 10+ years.
Oh yeah, an actual cyberpunk game. I have fond memories of the old bullfrog Syndicates.
Syndicate was a fun and high quality late PS3 fps that got swallowed in the sea of fps at the time. It was short and it didn't innovate but it had good visuals and fun combat. Starbreeze i believe. Rip Torn and Rosario Dawson.
Hint hint Activision.....
Im curious on how people will received Binary Domain, Inversion and Neverdead.
Hopefully they will turn out better than Shadow of the Damned sale wise.
I believe Kingdom of Amalur will sale well, Regardless February going to be a good month for video games.
Awesome article! I do really get sad when i try to talk to people about certain games that weren't as popular as like Uncharted or Halo... and they just have never heard of it ever :S... #firstworldproblems.
I am interested in Asura Wrath, Dragon's Dogma and a few other new ips. People will complain that there is no new ips while they hear new ideas and shoot them down before even giving creative ideas a chance.
I don't know, I'm more interested in Neverdead then FF13-2
