"There's no such thing as bad press." But what does this mean for consumers? Nate Hales looks into the almost-cancellation of The Last Guardian and analyzes the situation.

Sony is said to be pulling back on releasing PlayStation games on PC, and this starts with Ghost of Yotei and Saros.
If true then the PC elitists will no longer be saying..."I'll wait to play it on PC where it'll play best" I'm guessing the money Sony spends porting & profiting from PC isn't worth it. Making PS first party solely exclusive again to their consoles will make their consoles more relevant to buy especially if their output of first party titles are good.
A certain spamtastic account will not be pleased if this is true.
This is another basic logic scenario. We've seen both extremes playing out right now. Would you rather be in Xbox's or Nintendo's position right now? Sony already had a working formula, stick to it.
Sony released games on PC to try to make a few extra bucks... Valve (and possibly MS, if the new Xbox ever sees the light of day) attempted to use this to allow you to play PlayStation games on other consoles, so instead of making Sony a few extra bucks, it's now costing them good money... so this only makes sense.
All those players who claim they were happy to wait an eternity for every game, will now suddenly be saying all those games are/will be crap and they were never interested.
Of course they will...lol. It looks like they'll never get to play PS exclusive games or they'll give in & buy a PS.
Sure, keep coping obscure, suddenly Jason Schrier is super unreliable too I guess? lmao.
True. Haha.
Oh! And look, the obscure dude with his zillionth sock account commented below as expected LMAO!
Believe it or not, some people will just never play Playstation games if the don't come to PC. They're completely fine with that.
Sounds like you're letting a small section of gamers fuel your fanboy war. Good luck with that 👏
They are already doing this on some of the subreddits. Now they either never cared for their games or calling Sony selfish. However no one bats an eyelid at Nintendo sticking to console exclusive since forever
much like every MS released game when they eventually come to PS5 and somehow are magically good (Forza Horizon 5, Indiana Jones, Avowed, etc)
More like people were realizing what wasn't worth it was buying a PS5 to play games that eventually came to another platform. The constant excuses the entire gen to try to lessen the butt hurt y'all were feeling. Let's be for real here ladies and gents y'all were bothered by the fact most of these games were making their way to PC and judging by the replies y'all STILL butthurt. Trying to make it sound like waiting 6 months to a year was the worst thing when most people don't care cause why should they? Who's in a rush to play mostly SP games when they know they can play it on the platform they prefer? How exactly does it hurt y'all personally? Besides getting your pride hurt cause SONY making you look childish for being so loyal to a brand?
If they're pulling support it's because they know that long term they can't convince people to buy a PS if they can get their games on PC. It's that simple. You really think having an extra platform to gain more profit from somehow hurts them financially? Nah, it's cause they can't convince people to throw another 600-700 bucks at new hardware when their current console gen has barely been taken full advantage of. All the conveniences of a console are on PC now, and you aren't locked into a cycle where the hardware you buy becomes obsolete every 6 years. And the new hardware you buy receives games that are built off software made for the gen before.
Of course people rather buy these games on PC if they already own a PC, makes no sense at all to invest in a console if this continues. And it will infact continue if dev cycles keep taking most of the gen to complete development.
@Inverno
"All the conveniences of a console are on PC now."
Including piracy, hackers and cheaters? hmmm...
"Of course people rather buy these games on PC"
Yeah, digital only lol. People buy physicals on consoles, which you rarely have on PC.
You PC guys are really something. Being snobs for no reason at all lol.
@Inverno, that was long tearful rant, you feel better now? Lol. Nobody cares about the pc gaming community the orphans of the gaming industry. Even Nvidia has abandoned you, lol. Now go play "pizza making express" on your $10,000 rig, nobody cares pc gamer.
It's working for PS seeing their console has been selling fabulously lately. If this is" true" it's evident Sony has decided porting their games to PC is just not worth it.
I agree, I have a gaming PC along with a Pro and a Switch 2. I like choosing where I want to play my games. No I won't cry if I HAVE to play a title on my PlayStation. But it's nice having the option to play on my PC if I should choose.
That doesn't make me elitist or a fool in any way. My backlog of games is a country mile long. So if I can't get to a game at launch, getting it at PC down the road for a discount would be a nice option from time to time.
I'm super glad Sony's going back to what they used to do for 30 yrs, porting games to pee zee was a huge mistake just for a couple of millions extra at most and it only tarnished the brand/platform. Bunch of ungrateful ''pee zee elitists'' anyway, always demanding and whining as if Sony is owes them a port. You want a Big Mac? then go to McDonalds and get one, don't expect Taco Bell to sell you one. Common sense, that's how everything works in this world.
@obscure
I must have missed the part where Sony owned Kojima Productions and the Death Stranding IP, news flash, they don't, which is not what the article is about lol
Music to my ears. So glad Sony are getting back to their roots with PlayStation. Scaling back on live service garbage and bringing back exclusives that made PlayStation what it is today.
If anyone want to blame someone blame steam for stepping into the console market thinking Sony would continue to make their games available on PC like Xbox have done on all platforms.
Damn I missed today spam cooking competition 🤤
@ stakdeck: “ @Muffer Awwww. You really made an account just to say all of this”
nope he made 2 just to disagree with me 🤣
This feels like a bad move by Sony. The economy isn’t strong enough for most people to justify owning both a PC and a PlayStation. I’ve gotten used to playing on PC with a controller anyway. It’s a bit disappointing, but I’m not going back to consoles unless the economy improves significantly.
I'll wait to play it on PC where it'll play best, just a bit later on an emulator with higher res textures higher fps better controls and for free
It’s bc they don’t sell well. The cost to port vs revenue generated isn’t worth it. This kinda just shows that it’s specifically PlayStation people that love PlayStation exclusives - not necessarily gamers as a whole. That makes sense. Buy into what brands you like. PC has a whole universe of games that aren’t on console. Much bigger market. It doesn’t necessarily mean those interests are interchangeable.
I have a ps5 and play those games on it. But why are you thanking god? What relief does this give you for people getting an old game a year or so later?
"What relief does this give you for people getting an old game a year or so later?"
There's legitimate reason to find relief in the idea that PS is refocusing on its ecosystem and not jeopardizing it by doubling down on a strategy that could put it in a similar position as the current state of Xbox.
If true, it also relieves us of another "Sony too" deflection people have been arguing as a form of cope for years after years of people arguing that Xbox would surpass PS and Nintendo because those two weren't emulating the strategy of the only one of the big three that has never won a single console generation.
That's the cycle. Xbox has reinvented the wheel and done something the soon to be obsolete PS can't replicate, until it blows up in their faces. Then, it's "Sony too."
Because that stupid decision kills consoles.
Everything is an Xbox, and now nothing is an Xbox.
People downloading torrents to play spiderman on their steam deck, and we all knew it.
I'm definitely not buying a Steam Machine for $2k over in scalper land just to play a settings game every time I turn it on.
@SimpleDad not if done correctly. It killed Xbox because putting games day 1 on GamePass is cannibilizing their sales.
Thank God people that have gaming PCs now get to play infinitely inferior versions of two good games per year exclusive to the hyper locked down non-upgradable overpriced subscription-addicted Sony gaming PC.
Still got my PS5, but only for AstroBot, Wolverine, and whatever the next Ratchet game is gonna be. This console cycle has been absolute garbage. Forcing consumers to buy a piece of tech this lame in 2026 after they've shut down all their good studios is brutal. RIP Bluepoint.
Agreed. This has been an absolute lame-duck Sony console generation. Very few worthwhile titles for overpriced hardware. I'll continue to enjoy the plethora of endless game titles available through Steam and other platforms while Sony-only fans remain stuck in their ecosystem waiting for the next big title to drop once every 2 years. Have fun with that.
Well, we have the data in front of us, don't we. Not to mention how extensive Sony's data's got to be.
They've tried.
Huge revenue wasn't generated (don't get me wrong - they did make billions, but you get it), Steam got a cut, Xbox got a cut, PS5 is trailing ~2 million units behind PS4.
The paycheck for, but also potential harm to the remaining years of PS5 and the release of PS6, just wasn't it.
It's absolutely logical if true.
And people shouldn't forget Sony'd simply return to the strategy they've been following for 4/5 of Playstation's history.
Good luck with that, Sony wa losing money on their AAA exclusives since their ecosystem was not generating enough to revenue to cover their costs. Just another stupid move almsot as dumb as their live service push.
You think Sony made losses with God of War, The Last of Us, Ghost of, Horizon or Spiderman?
Huh.
@dveio, I hope those games made money they were good games. Horizon Forbidden West cost $212 million, while The Last of Us Part II cost $220 million, excluding marketing. Much rather see more platforms instead of them raising prices to cover the game since its lmited to one specific console.
Lol.. that makes no sense. That logic puts all publishers and developers out of business. The majority of people buy games on the system they prefer. Exclusives are only a tiny fraction of games sold. Selling 15 million games beats selling 2 million consoles.Consoles stagnate but games dont. How is sony trying to sell their console by putting God of War on PC? The overall goal is to make money and the games keep the money coming. The majority of the time consoles are sold for a loss. And If it is making money its not that much. Especially in the first few years after release. All the enjoyment is coming from experiencing the game.
Actually its closer to 4%. Playstation has grossed over 1.5 billion on steam to date. So its not BS. At the end of the day, its not about what you want. They are going to do what they need to in order to increase profits. Did they ask you for permission before they shut down Bluepoint studios? No.
We get it. You hate PS is no longer putting their exclusives on PC while your favorite platform is giving theirs away to PC and other platforms.
Thats ignorant. First of all nothing has been confirmed. I really dont care where sony put their games because I own a ps5 and a pc. So theres no hate. And for the record, I dont have a favorite platform but I do have a preference. There is a difference.
Everything you said is BS. If you didn't care where they put their games you would've never made this comment. And you've made it clear you CLEARLY have a favorite platform. Just because you own a ps5 and pc doesn't negate that.
Can you confirm that they are no longer putting their games on PC? If you cant then your whole argument is just nonsense. I dont care where they put their games. Part of the reason is i dont like all their games. Just like it dont like all games.on other platforms. I called BS on this report because its not based on facts to back it up. Maybe you care a little too much about it which imo is a waste of time. LIke I said before its not about you want. They dont need our permission to do anything. So if they do stop putting games.on PC it wont be because that what playstation fanboys want. It will be for business reasons. Thats why I said its BS. Why would they turn down opportunities to make money. For the record, games are developed on dev kits which are basically PC anyway. They only have to gain.
Look how much attention this got, Jason Schreier pulls this shit all the time. Then people just forget his embellished claims.
You send this dude one random ass email I bet he will write up a whole story on it.
Now that XBOX is essentially leaving the console space, this is likely more about Sony wanting to sell those PS5 Pro consoles instead of giving PC gamers a reason to buy a 4090. They’re “purifying” the console exclusive experience instead of falling into Microsoft’s “everything is an XBOX” trap.
It's only a rumor at this time, but I would think most people saw this coming. Currently, there's "no real reason" to own an Xbox and Sony is enjoying their current position. But with the news coming out about the neXt-box having Steam, plus the new Steam console coming out? That kind of flips the situation if they allow all of their games to go to PC.
It's a grimy thing to do after dropping these narrative-driven games on PC (people will want to see and experience the story), but Sony can probably smooth it over if PlayStation allows mods.
Doubtful that next Xbox will have steam as they will need to sell the console with extra premium price to make up the loss of potential gamers that will never buy games from Xbox store
It's literally confirmed the next Xbox is basically a hybrid pc and yeah they won't be subsidising the cost. That's why they keep referring to it as a 'premium experience' i.e: it's gonna cost a hell of alot.
MDTunkown,
As Extermin8or3_ mentions, they are going for a "premium, high-end experience" ( https://mashable.com/articl...
You may be overlooking a few things here. First, Microsoft is technically one of the biggest publishers on Steam, so they're likely to get a good good returns from Steam users. Second, Steam has over 130M monthly users, which is a massive audience. Third, I sincerely doubt Microsoft cares about having a competing marketplace on their console. Steam is great for deal seekers, so they will likely pitch it as "cheaper in the long run when you have Steam sales + XGP". Fourth, if you can get a premium console experience that also plays Steam titles and Playstation titles (and presumably, they would be the better version of PlayStation titles), Microsoft is likely wanting to make the case that you can get one device for cheaper than the price of an Xbox, PlayStation, and Steam console. It actually makes good sense for them to want Steam on Xbox.
This rumored move by Sony is likely in response to that. I've got my issues with Sony, but I have to say, they have developed pretty good foresight after the PS3 era. There is likely to be some short-term frustration for taking games away from PC, but I suspect they have enough data to understand this might be a bigger problem for their hardware operations if they do nothing.
Yea fosho, I think the new PlayStation leadership is ending Jim Ryan's plan that hurt PlayStation a lil bit and next to go is to end their Live Service Games push too.
great if true! Suck it Jim Ryan!! I don't mind they release MP focus games on PC like HD2 as those are mainly what PC gamers are into, but let's keep the major IPs exclusive, please!
Good. Respect your IP enough to not wh0re it out to every Tom, Dick, and Harry.
This shouldn't be surprising. A console maker SHOULD be putting their console first.
You mean console only because they have always prioritized their console first given PC gamers had to wait years for a port.
It definitely sucks, I've enjoyed having access to some of the PS library. I get why they're doing it though, gotta protect the platform and exclusives are the reason to buy into it.
i wonder if pc sales just arent that high compared to the money they spend on porting and updating.
sucks abit but yeh. it is what it is
The PC market is growing faster than .consoles. Its crucial that they include the PC as well. You guys are forgetting that exclusives are only a small part of the industry. Third party dominates the market. Ghost of Yotei sold 3 million copies which are good numbers but you have 90 million consoles out there but only a small portion bought the game. The PC market could easily help push that game to 6 or possibly 7 million.
not everyone with a pc is playing games on it tho.
thats what u seem to forget i feel like
I'd also suspect they saw 500k+ people seeding Uncharted on certain websites and only 20k sales on Steam. That is a lot of copies essentially going out for free that console owners are paying for. If you can't protect your investment on PC then people on console would start to question why am I paying for this when I can get it free elsewhere. Similar trend is happening with TV/Movies subscriptions. I know there is a clutch of users who think piracy doesn't affect sales but in regards to Sony's single player output most users were and are just pirating their content.
If they are only going to release multiplayer games on PC that partially solves the piracy problem but it doesn't address the problem of console owners having to pay a subscription to play them online and on PC they don't. So I'd even question putting multiplayer games on PC unless they make them free of subscription costs on console.
Fair enough, like consoles, PCs have their exclusive games (I think), but the PC is for gamers who are OCD when it comes to graphics and they don't mind paying silly money for the hardware. If you want to play Sony games, buy a PlayStation, same with Nintendo. I'm not sure how many games Microsoft sells on PC, I suppose the PC suits Microsoft alongside Xbox. A single format isn't going to happen, but how long can we all afford consoles costing £700+, namely the PS5 Pro?
Finally some good news.
Sony needs to remember where their bread is buttered. A sale of a PC game means little to Sony. It costs money for them to port and they have to give 30% to steam.
A customer on a Playstation however means they are making money from every single purchase on that console. It's PlayStation gamers who put them in the position they're in, not singular game sales on other platforms.
I'm just surprised it took them this long to realise this.
I guess I'm never playing Ghost of yotei now unless they give it to me for PS Premium.
well GoT has been available on PS Plus Extra so i don't see GoY not coming to Extra in a few months times.
They just don't want Microsoft to say you can play PS5 or 6 games on their new PC/Console, that's all this is about.
I disagree. Putting PS games on PC was a experiment and it did more damage than good for Sony. Low sales + PS5 loses value. So if rumours are true, Sony made a correct decision. Sony knows how to handle gaming business than Microsoft.
I'm in the minority here, but I feel this is a good decision. Other than convenience, a major selling factor of a Sony console is its first-party games being exclusive to the platform. If everything goes to PC, it gives people less incentive to buy a PlayStation.
As someone who has both a gaming PC and a PS5, it’s no big deal to me. I get the best of both worlds.
Why did Sony porting games to PC make the gaming world worse in any way? It didn't affect you in the slightest. The mere fact that some people on here are suggesting that they get MORE satisfaction or enjoyment from a game knowing it's only available on their plastic box of choice is ridiculous and a little concerning. It shouldn't bother you one bit.
These titles were always down the road, and Sony was only doing it to recoup a little extra money from development while double dipping. People who own multiple pieces of hardware should be able to choose where they want to play their games if the option is there.
I get exclusives are good for the survivability of a platform. Nintendo and Sony did it for generations, and look where they are. While MS is struggling to recoup their investments so have no choice but to push out their titles on every available option and are failing as a result. Buying an Xbox makes little sense now when you can play all their titles on PC/PS5 (save for a select few).
Play where you want to play, that's how I feel. I just find it funny how people are calling PC users elitists because they enjoyed the fact that they could wait a few months and play a title down the road instead of having to shell out for another piece of hardware.
Nintendo has never ported their games to PC though. So you never had an option there before.
@Neonridr
«Nintendo has never ported their games to PC though. So you never had an option there before.»
26 of 30 years, neither did Playstation.
They've tried, and appearantly evaluated it ain't worth it.
So how come you're very strong about basically demanding Playstation to revert their decision by guilting the PS player base about their plastic box?
Yet you don't apply the same standard to Nintendo and their player base?
Why is Nintendo allowed to keep continuing to strengthen their hardware identity, yet Playstation ain't allowed to revert their PC trial to do the same?
"Buying an Xbox makes little sense now when you can play all their titles on PC/PS5 (save for a select few)"
Then why buy a ps5 pro?
Thats not true. You cant play all xbox titles on PS5. I dont know why you people keep saying that. People choose xbox for different reasons. Its not just about what you can play. It has imo, the best features and better consolidation of your games library than what is offered by the competition. Its also has what is still considered the best controller based on ergonomics. Its preferred most by PC gamers. Using your logic if a person wants to play GOW they should just play it on PC. Why buy a Playstation if you can get it on pc.
a PS5 Pro is a choice because you want the best looking games possible. That's like asking why would you get a Series X over a Series S.
People have their reasons for choosing their consoles. I'm not bashing Xbox here, I have nothing against them. I play some of their games on my gaming PC. I think that Gamepass has incredible value.
I just don't understand why people were so up in arms that PC gamers liked the fact that they could get some PlayStation titles down the road if they wanted to. It didn't hurt anyone.
The funny part will be when they tell you their plans of their own pc launcher were canned and they are still releasing other titles via steam.
You's a fool, Sony if you think I'm buying your plastic junk box. Guess no more Sony games for me. Oh, well.
Good job, keep making epic bangers for PlayStation only, people thatw ant to play, buy a PlayStation. Porting games to pc is dumb, you get short term cash, but you harm your console business, just look at xbox, a complete joke in the gaming industry, they cant give away games to make people buy an xbox.
Sony ports are not selling on pc like they do on PlayStation - showing that it’s pretty much mostly PlayStation people that go nuts for PlayStation exclusives - not necessarily gamers as a whole. Not my opinion, it’s fact. Low sales vs cost to port.
Interesting logic you have there. Does that logic apply to Xbox exclusives that didn't sell well on Xbox in the past prompting multiplat shift?
Awesome news. PS single player games could sell 20M on Playstation along, but would struggle to sell 1-2M. Plus, I'm sure they see how devalued the Xbox brand has become.
This is a good move
Some people are celebrating this as if it will improve the quality or amount of games for PS. How is this good for anyone but Sony?
Well there’s no stop like GameStop I’m surprised they didn’t go deeper into the hole with their USED cables and controllers prices.
Edit:
For those that don’t know if you go to trade a console you need it to be ready to go with all the controllers and cables if you don’t have them they ask you to buy them and deduct the price from the monetary appraised for the console
That makes perfect sense really, why would you be selling your console without all the things it came with and needs to actually be used.
Not always I've seen plenty of refurbished units go cheap because people have picked them up broken then repaired and onsold with no controller or cable. When they are this old many people just want to replace the main unit
In the UK, eBay has removed selling fees, letting you list and sell any item for free.
I love gamestop. I still shop there. I prefer buying a game from a game store than a department store.
I preferred goin to Circuit City but that died out. Years back I'd go to Best Buy cause of Gamer Club, now Best Buy barely sells games and doesn't sell Blu-rays and looks dead most of the time. Same with GameStop, these stores look like a barren wasteland of Funko Pops and anime figures. These retail stores don't seem to care about pulling in customers. Those figurines are neat, I collect them too but they ain't pulling me into a GS. Rather than attracting gamers they've pay walled everything behind a subscription. As if they weren't already cheapskates back then with their trade ins.
I still go in there and browse, but never buy anything, the video game section is getting smaller and smaller, even the PS5/Series X/Switch game selection is getting tiny.
I miss Best Buy's Gamer Club, I used to get pre-orders for like 20% off often with other discounts then get points I could trade into discount rebates. It was so good, getting day 1 games for like $30.
When they shut that down I stopped buying games day 1 almost completely.
I stopped going to GameStop when they no longer let me use my monthly $5 rewards points towards PS network cards.
Weird I live in Canada and the Gamestop near me says you need the console, controller, controller cord, and an HDMI cord before they will take a console on trade. And if the console shows signs of being opened they still won't take the machine. And if you upgrade the PS4 HDD from 500 gig to a 1TB they will count that machine as modified and label it as a 500 gig model. Better to just sell it on Facebook Marketplace.
I also live in Canada. I had a similar experience trading in an Xbox One S. Gamestop would give me a pittance for it, so I sold it on Marketplace for almost as much as the original selling price.
Turn GameStop into a place where people can socialize during routinely scheduled tournaments or else the business is going to fail. Charge for entrance fees and then coordinate with video game developers to award the winners with exclusive in-game content instead of GameStop awarding winners with physcial or cash prizes.
About 10 years too late for that. Younger gamers are most antisocial bunch there is and society as a whole been leaning that way as well.
I miss the midnight launch parties the most but I believe those days are history now when everyone can just preload games and play when clock hits midnight.
GameStop is just a business that has fell victim to what killed shopping malls, blockbuster, movie theaters, bowling alleys, etc.
There are some shops like that throughout the country but they are a rarity these days
Brooo these enthusiast shops were much more common when EB games was still a thing in the states. As EB games turned to GS those other stores just died out. I was a kid still so I wasn't really aware of what these spaces offered until it was too late.
I like the thought but that's not going to work, tournaments are all done online now, and they are free.
PlayStation has a competition center which gives out rewards when you win.
https://compete.playstation...
I am aware online tournaments exist but the social aspect and energy and excitement of live tournaments is off the charts compared to online. Case in point are esports tournaments with giant live audiences, keyword live.
The funko store deals with games? I thought it was just disney, funko and pokemon.
haha
odd tho, cause i did the same thing not that long ago and still got 150 moneys for it.
Yea, I am pretty sure this is not actually true, this was some kind of error in the system.
just get a HDMI £1 and charge cable £1 from poundland (in UK, or similar elsewhere)... and just hand over the controller
Look I’m not defending GameStop here, but they don’t take consoles without a complete setup that they can sell as-is. The reason he owed is probably due to the fact that they would be charging him to replace the HDMI, the DualShock, and the charging cable based on their selling price in store. And the total amounted to a $5 difference. If dude came in with a tradeable system then he would have still been ripped off in terms of value. But click bait titles work I guess.
100%. Since we have had the internet for decades now it’s not hard to find some sort of online marketplace where you can actually make decent money back.
I've seen exactly this scenario happen 15-20 years ago when i worked at Gamestop, multiple times. Customer would bring in a busted or outdated console and nothing else. We'd tell them we'd have to sell them the missing items & the costs would outweigh the value, then they'd walk out the door with their busted or outdated console. Aka, it was worthless w/o the required accessories. This is nothing new.
I want to say that Gamestop deserves their collapse but I also would be lying if I said I didn't want them to return to the glory days even if its a pipe dream. Midnight releases were some of the best memories of the 2000s childhood, these newer generations of gamers will never understand the feeling of waiting to get that copy of a major release instead of just digitally downloading everything and getting instant gratification.
"Of course, old consoles don’t hold much value anymore..." This is correct for now, just wait until is considered"retro". I don't get how a missing controller and two cables turns the value negative, are the two cables and the controller more expensive in gamestop than the console itself... Strange.

Shu Yoshida, former Head of Worldwide Studios at SIE, has shared some insight on the development struggles faces by The Last Guardian.
I would love the remasters and Last Guardian on PC. Insta buy if I could get em on GOG. Just knowing I would have access to these games without them being tied to an aging console I'd buy em up again in a heartbeat.
This game made a huge impact on me, the friendship beetween the boy and Trico reminded me of my old stubborn dog that was my friend when I was a kid.
The first game that ever made me cry, I love it
Lol... this game took about 9 years to release. It actually took a whole generation. Better late than never i guess.
Not really. What he's saying is the game had to be moved from ps3 to ps4 because of the ps3 was too difficult and didn't have the power needed to run the game like the devs wanted. Its nothing that hasn't happened before.
Dont bother with Reaper he is just trying to sling negativity at anything PlayStation because.
like others in the comments, this is one of those rare games that stuck with me. The originality, the sound track, the bonding with the animal (especially if you've ever owned a pet before)
this game is a masterpiece.
Isn't that what people want current Sony to do? Cut off projects that don't make they think wouldn't make money?
ICO, Shadow of the Colossus, and The Last Guardian, will always have a special place in my heart! Wish there will be more games like that.
It should have been. Its a great concept but controlling that creature was a hassle and took away from the enjoyment of the story. So much focus on getting it to do what you need it to do. Couldn't even finish it unfortunately and I bought the digital and collectors editions.
