Rely on Horror: "Resident Evil saw a great year in 2011. Rightfully so since the series celebrated its 15th anniversary back in March. It was the beginning of “The Year of Resident Evil,” which is going to continue well into March 2012."

A new rating of Resident Evil 6 for Xbox has been spotted, which could suggest that it's getting a current gen port for Xbox Series X/S and PS5.
I loved Resident Evil 4 back in the day and enjoyed Resident Evil 5 even though I had to do co-op to beat the final boss. Shiva was just too dumb.
Resident Evil 6 on the other hand, was so bad that I stopped playing after an hour in the game. That was before I even played any high-quality single-player games outside of Mass Effect, Portal, and Skyrim. I can't imagine playing RE6 now.
Chances are their next remake will be 5.
I just don't get why it's already on the platforms via BC unless it's a remake which would piss everyone off as fans are hoping for either the original game or code veronica to get the remake treatment

Resident Evil Remake titles were a massive success for Capcom. Despite the success, the company should revisit the Revelations games for a breath of fresh air.
They were ok, but I prefer the main-line entries than the Berger episodic spin-offs.
Now, if they want to do an episodic RE game give us a legit Outbreak File 3 or just remaster the last 2.
They were meh. Their current output with remakes and new games is pretty good. 5 good RE games since RE7 in 2017.
No need to dillure the brand with more RE. Especially with more Revelations which is just watered down mainline RE.
Something like outbreak would be better. Kinda wish they did a scaled-down version of outbreak with RE3, RE8 instead of REVerse and Resistance.
I didn’t really like the revelations games. They weren’t horrible just not good enough to interest me
I'll pass. Tried playing Revelations on two separate occasions and on two separate platforms... got bored about two hours in.

From Xfire: "Steam users and the larger PC gaming community are lashing out at Capcom over a streak of sneaky DRM updates as the Japanese gaming giant continues to flirt with controversy"
Do they want more of their games to be torrented? Seems like it, I don't mind 🤣 Just ripped them a new asshole on Twitter, as I do not care what I say or post on there LOL.
This is classic Capcom. They everything they go on a hot streak and win back some consumer good will they have to turn around and burn it to the ground and have to start the whole process again.
Additional DRM just pushes people to pirate more. These ignorant executives just don't get it. Only the legitimate customer is affected by DRM. 😕
"Resident Evil saw a great year in 2011"? What a terrible lie. A couple of HD ports (RE4 doesn't even have support for the PS Move) and a cash-in for 3DS don't make 2011 a great year for RE.
To be fair, RE Mercenaries 3D is fun, but it's just not enough.
It will be the exact opposite, Resident Evil is going to see a HORRIBLE year (with the exception of Revelations, which should've been on console), in fact, this year, could very well be the last time we see the name Resident Evil! Why? ORC, which I stopped referring to as a RE title because it's not (not even a spin off) it's something, but it's not Resident Evil! Once again, Capcom has outsourced a LEGENDARY flagship title, which is only going to throw the company futher into turmoil! They've set a high expectation of ORC, (2 million copies? LOL) to which it will never met! ORC, was suppose to come out Dec 31, 2011, did it though? NO, why? Capcom knew it would flop (which it still is) so they pushed it back 3 months, in order to add "Heroes Mode", which to true Resident Evil fans like myself, will be to no avail! Capcom tries to invoke the spirit of RE 2 in making Leon, HUNK, Ada, Claire, etc... playable. This will all be for naught, as the name Resident Evil crumbles beneath the ruin that is ORC!!
