Crazy Hedgy Review (Modojo)

Chris Buffa (Modojo): Sega does not own exclusive rights to creating fictional hedgehogs. If anything, there's a mutual respect between it and the development community. There's only one hedgehog in gaming. Anything else would seem weird.

That said, you can imagine our surprise upon seeing Crazy Hedgy, an iPhone and iPad 3D title from cybertime that stars a...calm yourself...cute and cuddly hedgehog not named Sonic. Yes, it's weird.

looks ok, but theres still this kinda rugged looking playstyle that I cant get over yet. I cant really describe it, idk trying to find the right word maybe stiff.

Knight_Cid5190d ago

for the whole 1 hour I will be able to play games on this thing before the battery gives way I am sure I will be frustrated by lack of controls

brettyd5190d ago

does it have buttons? no?...pass

MySwordIsHeavenly5190d ago

Yes. Bluetooth keyboard. Bluetooth connection with DualShock 3.

Just put it on the stand and play with a controller. Is it REALLY that hard to understand for you people?

KwietStorm_BLM5190d ago

Its not a dedicated gaming console, period. Why do you think people are do against smart phone gaming on a gaming site? Is it that hard to understand?

vallencer5190d ago (Edited 5190d ago )

While that's all fine and dandy but by doing that it defeats the purpose of the ipad and the point of gaming on the go now doesn't it? Or is that too hard to understand?

CynicalVision5190d ago

Do you honest think people are willing to get on a bus/train and then whip out their keyboard and/or DualShock 3 controller to play a game?

Sorry but no. The iPad just isn't designed for gaming like the Vita or the 3DS and it's certainly not intended for that purpose alone.

MySwordIsHeavenly5190d ago (Edited 5190d ago )

Dedicated or not, it has some pretty good games.

They are against it because they don't think these "casual devices" can stand up to their gaming handhelds. They're elitist and immature. Disagree all you want, guys. I'm not boasting or anything. I'm just trying to get you guys to open up your minds for FIVE seconds!

Edit: Who is playing with their iPad on a bus? That's like screaming, "PLEASE ROB ME! I'M RICH!" It's a device that you can lay in bed with and enjoy gaming on...just like the Vita or 3DS.

I understand that it's not meant to be JUST a gaming device. However, it does that pretty darn well. You guys just can't accept that good games are made for the iPad/iPod/iPhone/Android devices. You aren't GETTING it. You're just like people who say video games are for kids and movies are for people who have grown up. You have bias. Think more.
