sales != good game, sports champions is better than kinect sports, however it none the less has sold less than it

so says you sony fans, what proof do you have? I mean searously I'm not trying to be a fanboy but I really wont to know where do you get your #s from,
everyone always say that vgchartz are not accurate
but never give a alternative site.

There is no proof because it's not true. People just hear other people say it and repeat it without doing any research of their own. If anything, VGChartz undertracks the 360. I follow their numbers very closely and I will never forget when they undertracked the 360 by 200,000 units in the US alone in June 2011. 40% of its entire sales for the month. Here were their predictions:

There is actual proof of VGChartz undertracking the 360. I have yet to see any proof for the PS3 side. Now of course VGChartz corrected their numbers and I don't accuse them of purposely undertracking the 360. For the most part, they are very accurate. But these things happen every once in a while.

I would love to see proof of VGChartz undertracking the PS3 to the same degree they undertracked the 360 in June 2011. The only thing I see is people misunderstanding the difference between shipment numbers that Sony and Microsoft report, and the actual sold to consumer numbers that VGChartz estimates.

I'm not good at navigating VGChartz sales records but they tend to adjust once the financial reports from the Big 3 becomes available.

I don't blame them because there is just no way to properly track sales figures, especially on the markets without any independent sales trackers like NPD or mediacreate.

yeah i have a abassador 3DS (launch 3DS) and i have mario kart 7, super mario 3D land, tales of the abyss, dead or alive, super street fighter IV, super pokemon rumble, lego star wars III, skylanders, zelda, naruto and super monkey ball, and i have finished most of them, really ejoy them and there are several games that i really want like kid icarus and stuff..but yeah looking forward to new games.

and the ps vita is more sucessful than it shows..not of the imports count..its kinda silly but well i can't do anything about it

It's the same thing every year. The PS3 outsells the 360 by small amounts for the first three quarters of the year. That all builds up to a yearly lead. Then the holiday season comes and the 360 outsells the PS3 by large amounts, wiping away most of the lead the PS3 had built for the year. And every year, they finish in a virtual tie.

That's why the sales gap keeps going up and down and every year people think the PS3 will pass the 360, but it never does. The gap was nearing 2 million earlier this year, and now it's back up to 4 million again, with both the PS3 and 360 hovering around 14 million units sold in 2011.

ll the proof is in the world wide numbers. Every time sony announces WW sales of the PS3 VGChartz is always behind. But Im sure you already knew that right?

Lol if its a virtual tie every ear then how come the 360's lead shrinks by millions every year?

it came out a whole 2 weeks earlier:) i don't think that's amounts to much in the overall picture, especially as more time goes bye.
