
Since 2011 has all but officially wound to a close, its time again to reveal Suddenbrain’s top 5 list for the year. This time, however, we’ve come up with a bit of a different list. If you read our recent article "Is Creativity in Video Games Dying? 2 Things to Consider" you know that we are all for celebrating originality in ideas. In honor of that fact, this year’s top 5 are all original titles. If it was a sequel it was automatically disqualified from the running. The last thing Microsoft needs is to enrage the PlayStation community and have them boycott Microsoft games releases on PlayStation
I say DNF should be number 1. When have we ever witnessed a game take SOOO long to come, give itself SOOO much hype, yet be SOOO terrible. Its unprecedented, I think it dethroned Too Human tbh as the biggest disappointment ever
I'm not far from getting platinum from L.A. Noire and it's one of the most original and fresh games in a long while IMO. It's not the best game out there or everyone's cup of tea but for someone like me who's always enjoyed all kinds of detective stuff, this game is a very enjoyable experience.
If you enjoyed L.A. Noire, I'd recommend the Harry Bosch series' books by Michael Connelly. There's a lot of similarities and little things that reminded me of those great books in this game despite them being two different kinds of media.
