In case you missed it, Beats came out for the PLAYSTATION Store for PC yesterday. It's getting great buzz from Kotaku, PSP Fanboy, Joystiq, and others. As you can see in the video on the Playstation Blog, it's a funky interactive music player that gives you a new way to interact with your personal music collection on a PSP.

VGC writes: "When Sony first launched the Playstation Store for the PSP they needed to produce titles that would prove that the portable could provide small scale and fun games for a low price. From that objective came Beats, a game that combines the two most used features on the PSP, gaming and music. For the low cost of five dollars, Beats morphs the music library stored on your memory stick into a traditional rhythm game."

The top ten PSP downloads in May, according to the Playstation Pulse.
Pretty damn good game. I see how this would get the top spot.

VGR:
"Each game has its own strengths and weaknesses, but put together the Power Pack seems a bit lacking. Having to exit out of the game to change between them is just plain silly; although each game has their moments...the only one I remotely enjoyed was flOw for its quirkiness. Beats seems a bit dull and Syphon Filter Combat Ops gets old after a while, but flOw is the one that's unique, making it the best of the bunch. Should you get the Power Pack? Only if you've never played flOw, otherwise I'd skip it."
It is an awesome game. For those who find that it misses some of the beats of the song you are listening to, play it on hard and extreme and you will see that it simply missed them to adjust for the difficulty levels.
