Though each Legend of Zelda game seems to feature its own unique universe and storyline, that hasn't stopped fans from trying to put the games together into some sort of chronological timeline. Though many dismissed these attempts to slot the games in order, a new official artbook from Nintendo apparently confirms that there is indeed a correct timeline for the series, though its definitely more confusing than anyone could've foreseen.

The rejection is non-final (and even when such rejections are labeled as “final”, the process is far from over, given that there can be, at minimum, an appeal to the Federal Circuit).
Good, as they should! A game mechanic like that shouldn't be locked behind a patent, and Nintendo didn't invent it either.
Nintendo wants to keep wasting money on bullshit lawsuits, real smart in this economy. They should put that money aside for other game projects. On the other hand, I don't care if they waste it all either, and they are screwed in the future maybe that will teach them a lesson.

NE: "We predict all of the possible announcements and games Nintendo could release for The Legend of Zelda's 40th anniversary."
How about the original Legend of Zelda remade with the Echoes of Wisdom engine. Maybe throw in added dungeons, or expand the map to make the game longer than the original.

Nintendo completed its share repurchase and set its secondary offering price at 8,347 yen ahead of March 16 delivery.
sounds good to me.
Oh, so there were 3 Links in Ocarina! Everything makes sense now. And I'm not even being sarcastic.
This makes more sense then the 2 split time line.
actually that makes sense because if you think about it zelda sort of rushed link to get all 3 pendants forgot what they were actually called to pull out the mastersword
though in fact she had a dream and was right about ganondorf being evil etc she miss interperted the fact link was only suppose to pull it out when the time is right thus the sword or what else trapped him till hes of age
so because of this there was no hero of time to stop him so the sages somehow awaken without link sealed ganon away
so really zelda made a big misake instead of link by rushing link instead of waiting till hes of age then the timelne wouldnt be screwed up
how this makes any sense look at most of the other zelda games link was adult pulling out the mastersword so the timeline stayed as is
All this time, and virtually nobody came to that conclusion.
But yes, it does make perfect sense and I am satisfied.
Praise be to Zelda.
