So what am I going to do about it? I'm going to buy a new PC, because I'm done waiting. It will be my next generation console. It will run Battlefield 3 at top settings so that I can peer into fog rather than trying to see round a mophead of particles. It will allow me to walk down a hill in Skyrim and look at the farm in front of me without having to imagine the textures until it's computationally convenient for them to appear. I won't have PSN or Xbox Live, but I'll have Steam, which will probably do the trick.

Battlefield 3's former Lead Designer has revealed that there were two cut missions from the main campaign
Get rid of campaigns, move the game to mobile, and try to compete with warzone. They would save time and money.

Whether it comes through remakes or a new game with a similar style, DICE should aim to revive the glory days of Battlefield 3 and Bad Company 2.
hmmm I think there will be no old BF glory days for EA since they are loyal to their greediness and laziness :D
You're asking for a miracle with EA that will never happen unless they can exploit the money making schemes behind it.

Gamers who concern themselves with the next generation of gaming machines because "game will look better" are the lowest sort of gamers out there.
There's a reason why most PC gamers with machines that can max out the graphics on any game typically own a PS3 and Wii, too.
I really wish everyone would just stop already with next gen this and next gen that. It's coming yes but who cares? We still got plenty of games coming out. Aside from the Wii U, I don't really see a need for new consoles. Im quite content where we are right now. I got my wii in 2007, got my 360 in 2008(no longer own) and my ps3 in 2010.I'm buying games faster than i can beat them.Especially with the vita coming in febuary and the 3ds already out, I don't need anything else. The games look fine to me, I'm still impressed (yeah I know there are better gpu's out there but who cares?) I don't know about anyone else but there just doesn't seem to be a need to me. I don't want to go and buy some console that's $500+ when the ps3 and 360 aren't even below 199 yet.
I agree with the article im upgrading asap .
I am tired of waiting on next gen myself and I'm starting to feel more like he does. I can't help it that some people didn't get into this gen until 2010. I jumped on day one, so I've enjoyed this gen for 6 going on 7 years now. If the best rumors turn out true it could be 8ys total before we see the next consoles. That's almost a decade! That's too long. Things are getting stagnate to the point that the WOW factor and sense of wonder the writer was talking about is all but gone. If you stop to think about it the xbox is the oldest electronic device in my house. Besides maybe a dvd player I still have, because I've moved on to Bluray. Just look at how much tech has grown since 2005. TVs,phones, tablets, computers,h d cameras, ect. all doing things we only dreamed about in 2005. Hell nobody hardly had HD tvs! Point is, this gen of consoles are old a starting to get crusty! Bring on the new hardware!
