Yeah this game is what convinced me to get a PS Move. I got the PS Move Tiger Woods 11 bundle w/ Nav for $60, so I'm satisfied with my purchase already.

I was afraid that the devs might make this game too casual friendly. They could've easily released this game as just another shovel ware game and earn that quick cash, But looks like they're putting a good effort into this title. Monsters looks pretty scary, and effects of skill looks great. Hope there's lot of puzzles/enemies where you need to mix up spells in order to progress.

Another PS3 exclusive to add to 2012/2013

I've really been waiting to hear more about this game... I kinda regret purchasing the Move starter bundle, extra wand and navi on day one since Black Friday saw some insane deals on Move, but games like this may make the investment really worth it. I hope the hardware carries over to the PS4 so it's not just a gimmick. If Sorcery is a success, we will definitely see more quality Move titles.

That doesn't look anything like what I remember from the game they premiered at E3. That looks incredible. I don't own Move yet, till now. When this game hits I without question will purchase Move. Now this is a game you purchase motion controllers for. Well done!

Just because the likes of KZ3 or R3 with a sharpshooter might not be YOUR cup of tea, saying that it FINALLY has a killer app is a bit shallow and short sighted, hence the disagree.

In regards to the actual game. I'm glad to see its coming to light. Looks like to be not my type of game, but it good to see more support.

Now Sony, more third party support on the FPS spectrum...and no fcking around with Infinite. I hope that special peripheral rumour stays just that, a rumour.

Whil I have KZ3 and R# and played both with the Move. I do have to agree a bit with sumo. Its a game designed for the Move, and only uses the Move. With KZ3 and R3, using Move was an optional controller configuration. You never had to use it if you didn't want to, in order to fully enjoy the games.

I own R3 and KZ3 and play them exclusively with Move. I love Move. My statement of "finally have its killer app" is in regards to the unnecessary separation of Move titles that A) have Move controls patched in or B) can be played with either a DS3 or Move/Nav. This is a Move-only game, correct? If so, it could very well be Move's killer app, as MGS4 in the early life of the PS3 was its killer app.

Then you have a poor imagination, or lack of basic common sense. People on sites like these aren't brainwashed into buying anything. They say "day one" because they are legitimately excited to own this game as soon as possible. But given your constant confrontational nature, I wouldn't expect you to say any different than the quoted statement.

Oppositional: A critical position that is in opposition to the values and ideology intended by the creators of a media text, usually the dominant reading of a text.

Just because your stupid browser's American dictionary considers oppositional to not be a word, doesn't mean it's not a word. Look it up. I was already sold on the Move from what I already knew of the technology.

But once I saw the E3 2010 live demo for Sorcery, I knew I had to purchase the Move.

I have been waiting on this game since I purchased my Move controllers

Move has amazing potential for great core games but it seems Sony just didn't care to exploit it so seeing Scorcery makes me happy. Hopefully the game is a success and Sony makes more Move exclusive core games.

It does look really great, albeit in an old-school sort of way. It strangely reminds me of the first three Spyro The Dragon games a lot, due to the visual aesthetic I guess. I think if the reviews turn out right and this is recognised as a killer-app for motion gaming, then I'll have to eat crow and buy myself the Move.

I had the feeling that after the initial reaction the first look of the game had, that the reason it seemed to have gone into hiding was that they were redesigning it and beefing it up a bit.... looks like that was the case as the game looks very different now!

Hopefully it will be a genuinely good quality game and will then go on to be a success and spark some more quality games for Move. I'm still waiting for a decent sword or light-saber game to come out!

I still say though that Sony missed a golden opportunity when they decided not to include analogue sticks on Move.
Just imagine playing a game like Skyrim with 2 Move controllers complete with analogue sticks.... dual wielding, Sword and Shield, spell casting... would all be awesome.... seems like such a shame!

Yes! I already enjoy Move. I still play Start The Party, High Velocity Bowling, Tumble, Echochrome II, Resistance 3, Killzone 3, and Beat Sketcher with Move. This new wave of Move games has been refreshing as well. Everybody Dance is, arguably, the best dance game available on ANY platform. Medieval Moves: DQ is incredibly addicting as well. I can't wait for Sorcery! That and Bioshock: Infinite. :)

I just bought the LBP 2 Move Bundle for $75. I never thought I'd be excited for Sorcery, but they've really improved the game from the last time we saw it. I just wasn't too impressed when they revealed it at E3 a couple years ago, but they've really added to it and improved it.

I might be alone on this but I actually liked the old whimsical cartoony look much better! It had a nice "Heart of Darkness" like charm to it; that old Saterday morning cartoon vibe thing.

The new art style just looks uninspired/blah to me by comparison. Plus the more mature style does not appear to be matched by the required increase in graphic fidelity, ie the graghics look like an early ps3 game now. Point being I'd rather have a game with simple stylized art than more realistic stuff that is half baked.

That said, I'm still looking forward to seeing what they can do with the move. It will be interesting to see how this game plays relative to what Nintendo just did with skyward sword. At 5-6 hours it might not be a zelda quality epic, but the overall concept of one to one control in an action adventure game makes the comparison relavant.
