ya epic started their company making games like zzt, brix, epic pinball, and jill of the jungle... so you want more games like that from epic? lol logic fail.

where a company begins making games is irrelevant. what matters is when they started making good games that had a huge impact and people started caring about them, like Unreal, Gears, and Shadow Complex. sure fortnight has potential but it's not what most people want to see from epic.

Agreed.This is why so many developers are scared to try something new. It's a real shame some so called "gamers" act like this.

People keep moaning about too many shooters and yet when Epic of all devs try something new you moan that it's not a shooter. Give them a break guys and let's at least give them the chance to see what they can do. Like someone above said we've only seen 20 seconds and I for one am actuall quite intrigued.

uhappy with construction workers nailing speed limit signs to towers? lol come on now caboose. this game will probably end up like some RTS or some other survival genre where you have to survive for 2 weeks or something (hence the title fortnight) and build forts...

gears 1 was good when it came out but not really a fan of the series. i'll stick to halo and uncharted.

*edit i've used up all my bubbles but ya i agree with the below comment, it would probably be a game just to mess around with with its multiplayer but i can't take this game seriously whatsoever (which is why it's probably an XBLA game).

Yea haha sorry I was just messing around. I can see where this would throw off a lot of people with the whole art design and gameplay coming from Epic. But this is exciting for someone like me because I personally think games like this are a blast to play.

i love mirrors edge and the sequel has been confirmed to be coming out... just don't know when. anyways it sounds like a lot of people are being optimistic about this new IP from epic. i'm probably not gonna get it (haven't gotten an epic game since shadow complex), there are plenty of other games i'm ACTUALLY looking forward to compared to this.
