I love the Hitman series but I want see more of what this game is like. So far they've shown gameplay with alot of action. I want to see a level with stealth.

The gameplay was very SSC-like. And frankly, the action in this trailer is very generic.

I really hope I am wrong, but this isn't looking too great. I won't get hyped up until I see some substantial stealth.

It's worth remember that the developer has been busy creating the Kane and Lynch series the last couple years. Keep that in mind...

Keep calm guy's I don't think this will stray too far from the beloved formula, I think you'll still get big areas to explore and get through as you like, the only difference is going to be checkpoints, more focused story and some set-peice moments (which have been in previous hitman games...you just haven't played them, they were cinematics)

I think this is a natural evolution of Hitman, staying too bogged down with the old style formula would prevent pretty much any new players coming to the genre.

Hitman games have always had sequences were stealth was unnecessary. The ending in BO is a perfect example. I’m most definitely sure that at lest 70% of the game will be stealth. Now of course it will be up to you in the end, but now 47 is on the run from what the devs are saying… Sooo I’m thinking that there will be a lot of face paced moment’s throughout the game. What I’m really wondering from the trailer is what is going on with Diana: is she dead, is she alive and if she’s dead who killed her.

I’m really anxious for Absolution, but I’m really disappointed that weapon customisation is removed though and I just hope they don’t make it into a Hitman Conviction lol

How IO turned Hitman around, from Absolution to World of Assassination

When Hitman 3 recently changed its name to Hitman World of Assassination, fans had no idea how meaningful the moment was. On the outside it looked like a simple thing: Hitman 3 would now be known by this name and include levels from Hitman 2 and 3 - the trilogy would all be in one place. But on the inside, at IO Interactive, much more was going on.

You mean destroyed it with this tethered single-player campaign BS... And only the first few levels of the third modern game were on the disc! I'll never support this crap at any price-point! They've lost me as a customer.

Hitman is, and has been, a remarkable series developed by some of the best. Some are better than others, but every Hitman is challenging and fun.

Sure, there have been some stumbles and fumbles, but always in pursuit of the perfect Hitman game. The most recent trilogy is a masterclass in level design.
