"The industry's increasingly multiplayer-centric vision is taking precious development hours away from creating memorable single-player experiences. I'd rather have more time with characters, storylines, and unique gameplay than playing through another wave-defense variant."

There are some video game locations which hit you right in the feels. Are these the most emotional places in gaming to visit? Jump Dash Roll counts down 9 destinations in today's feature.
Is the OoT screenshot a comp of hyrule field with the Windows Vista desktop layered over the foreground?

Bandai Namco has released its latest financial report, revealing that the Dark Souls series has reached around 40 million units combined.

Before Elden Ring and Bloodborne, FromSoftware's talents for all things creepy and chilling gave Dark Souls an atmosphere unlike any other.
This feels like the epitome of a 'tepid take'. Dark Souls has always worn its gothic horror influences on its sleeve, it isn't exactly subtle.
They do the same stuff for nearly every online game now when some games just don't suit those features
Take Uncharted for example
Uncharted 2 was just thrown in there too see if the online would go somewhere....it was a success. All you had in the game was your skill, two boosters and whatever gun you could get to on the map....if you wanted a M4 you would go and find one, if you wanted a Shotgun....you would go and look for one or race a person to the location.
Then Uncharted 3 came and they added Kickbacks (Killstreaks), more boosters, upgradable boosters, weapon mods (basicaly high leveled people have better guns against low level players), and it's all about blindfirering and sprinting now.......hell because everyone has reached high levels now, something which wasn't an issue in the beta since there was a level cap, people are using the high leveled guns you can unlock like Lazarevic's KAL-7 with very high blindfiering......you go into a match now and 9 times out of 10 people will just drop like flies, even some which don't even have time to get into cover.
It's ridiculous, I wanted them to make Uncharted 3 Multiplayer not Uncharted "LIKE EVERY OTHER" multiplayer.
I hope for Uncharted 4 they just go back to your skill, two boosters, smaller maps and whatever gun you find on the map (the starter AK and Pistol).
I don't play a lot of multiplayer anyway, but I really liked Portal 2's multiplayer co-op puzzles.
there hasnt been one fun multiplayer in years when it comes to shooters. Portal 2's co-op is awesome, Dark/Demon's Souls co-op is awesome. Raiding on an MMO feels awesome. Last shooters i enjoyed online were halo 2 and gears of war 1
Check out Modern Warfare 3: barely anything new added! I do like the mode where you have to pick up or save your dog tags, but still...a lot more of the same.
Transformers WFC had a really great multiplayer component. Yeah, it was still the same deathmatch and stuff, but you could transform into vehicles and zip around! It was a little different at least...
