wrap it in a towel. Maybe that will work?

mighty_douche6741d ago

and its gonna take more than a bit of sandpaper to improve it. you cant polish poo no matter how hard you try.

enjoy Street Fighter 4 with your analog stick guys....

i was waiting for a post like this..

Most people interested in fighting games play with the arcade stick anyway.

But yeah, the 360's d-pad stinks horribly indeed.

But I really get annoyed when I try to call in a UAV in COD4 and I pull down my night vision goggles. That pad is a clunky, unresponsive POS. It's a shame because I think the rest of the controller is perfect.

sad thing is your gonna start hear bullsh*t fanboy comments when other than that issue with the thumbpad its the best controller out there and was highly praised when it was introduced for the 360

Captain Tuttle6741d ago

I think it is the best controller out there...the D-Pad just sucks. Luckily it's not heavily used in the games that I play. Again, not a fighting game fan.

Grim6741d ago

I agree Captain Turtle. I prefer the 360 controller to the PS3 for FPS its "tighter" and more accurate in sensitivity, however I prefer the PS3 for fighting games as the 360's D-pad is useless! PS3 controller is also better for PES2008 IMO.

Gamingisfornerds6741d ago

The 360 controller (sans the d-pad) is the best controller out there imo. The thumbstick layout is perfect and the triggers are excellent aswell, and it sits extremely well in your hands.

I definitely prefer the 360 controller over the PS3 controller, just can't get used to it.

Third party controllers have a decent D-pad; I have one right now and I'll buy a second one since I'm really satisfied with the D-pad (I love fighting games). I can't believe Microsoft even bothered with thinking their own D-pad is actually good... it doesn't even work for typing on the virtual keyboard, for crying out loud!

OOG FunK6741d ago

third party controllers are basically jus cheap knock offs and never feel the same.....meh for fighting games if your really hardcore tho you can jus go buy the arcade pad if it bothers ya that much tho

this will have been the 3rd time.

"Gaming’s Biggest Fighting Franchise"

Press X to (seriously) doubt.

DarXyde27d ago

Underrated comment. I used to hate that game so much that any time my siblings asked me to play it, I just picked Hom and shut myself down mid-match.

And then MK1 killed it again.

15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.
