CheatCC - As a PC gaming enthusiast, I'm always going on about how modding is one of the greatest advantages of the PC as a gaming platform. For the uninitiated, "modding" is the act of altering an existing game, sometimes extensively. The ability to mod a game gives players the ability to fix flaws, enhance gameplay options, unleash their creativity, and extend the life of a favorite game. What would happen if all games could be modded?

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."
Funny thing is trying to explain why mods are so awesome to someone who has never experienced them before (mainly console players). Those types of people will go on and on about how the game should have been complete from the first and it should never need mods. People fail to realize that the majority of mods aren't game changers, yet instead they help tailor the game experience to the user and add new free content. There is nothing but positives in both those things. I think the haters are just jealous that they don't get mods too.
It could and nearly happened with all game through all platforms. I think I've seen some examples in the older consoles. There was huge potential in the current consoles (both have internet connections, hard disks and usb ports) for having mod tools of their own.
Then the DLCs appear. Why let gamers make their own content for free when you can force them to buy the ones you made?
On the flipside, DLCs made modding a PC exclusive.
