hmmmm Half-life. Never was too much of a fan. But for the fans i hope its not someone messing with them.

The shirts and pics are real. Multiple people have spotted Valve employees with these shirts.

I doubt it really means anything though, all Valve does is troll their fans, so don't expect some mythical HL3/EP3 announcement or anything soon. This is a viral-marketing-esque way to keep the game's existence in everyone's heads.

Half Life 3 is likely in development years. I think Valve are looking at what's out there and trying to innovate again with the series. Financially they're fine because of steam's success and franchises like Portal and L4D and therefore they're free to release it whenever they choose. Episode 3 will probably come out next year or in 2013 and Half Life 3 will likely be a next gen title using the new Source engine. I truly believe it will be the breath of fresh air the fps genre needs if not the best shooter ever made.

I remember when HL2 was first showcased and the source engine wowwed everyone. Breaking tables and have it breaking into smaller interactive pieces was so revolutionary back then!
