Level Save Review - Ultimate Marvel VS. Capcom 3 – Is It Worth 40 Bucks?

Vincent from Levelsave.com writes, "So Capcom decides to give this game the “Super Street Fighter 4″ treatment. By definition its a similar game. They add more characters, more arenas, an online spectator mode (should’ve been in original game) updating/tweaking existing fighters’ HP/moves, tweak the menu interface and update soundtrack for good measure. Another sweet bonus is charging you only 39.99 for it! Should you buy it?"

I feel like it is. The core game itself is pretty solid, unless a player doesn't like this style of VS play. There are lots of characters to chose from, and an okay amount of modes with another coming soon.

A lot people seem to have a problem with the game being released so soon after the Vanilla version, but it is at a discounted price. DLC probably wouldn't have been any cheaper after adding in the 12 characters and new stages.

Anyone that was interested at first, and didn't get the original should definitely get this one. If they didn't care about it before, then this new release won't change their mind. Its a solid game that should do well with the competitive community.

Capcom seriously dropped the ball with MvC Infinite. You can tell that it was heavily influenced by outside marketing that wanted to promote the characters in the MCU films only. The roster was lacking, the gameplay was slower than the previous game and there just wasn't a lot of the wackiness we come to expect.

Best Superhero Video Games Available Right Now

From Xfire: "A lot of video games are designed to make players feel like a superhero. However, very few actually feature superheroes or have players take on the role of a superhero. What makes this even worse is that there are even fewer superhero video games that can be considered good."
