GamePron: Just days after a voice actor let the proverbial cat out of the bag, film actor Milla Jovovich has added fuel to stories that Capcom is working on Resident Evil 6.

Jason Dietz: "We reveal the past year's best and worst video game publishers (based on their 2025 releases) in the 16th edition of our annual Game Publisher Rankings."
But... but... the garbage-mongers always tell us that Square Enix is in trouble! 😂

Capcom has clarified its current stance on generative AI in its videogames. The major Japanese publisher and developer behind popular series like Resident Evil, Street Fighter, and Monster Hunter has revealed that while it doesn't use gen-AI assets in their games, it is exploring ways to use generative AI to streamline the game development process.
Using Artificial Intelligence (more like Realistic Stupidity) art assets in your games is a great way to get people to boycott your product. We don't need that ugly, unsophisticated, generic, fake art in our games, good on CAPCOM for not using that garbage.
Naw you can't fool us, You work with Nvidia, that's a fact! And here you wanted to advertise but now look stupid!
Bring the zombies back!
Not like we're begging to know...
There are many other games to look forward to Capcom
Let´s hope its decent enough to have my interest, the only decent games Capcom delivered this gen are platformers and beat em ups so and i dont many hopes for this.
Dead Space ruined Resident Evil
Zombies or no zombies, there are two key things that Resident Evil must achieve to stay true to its roots. The game must actually be scary and frighten the player when they least expect it. Most of the enemies must be terrifying; so ugly and gross that you don't want them within a 100 metres of you. Its better if they attack you with their hands or by biting your face off than by using guns or pitchforks. I don't mind if Res 6 has a lot of action, once most of it is scary and a survival horror experience. There shouldn't be clever human-like enemies but rather scary grotesque and highly dangerous monster enemies. A true success for a survival horror game would be to frighten the player dynamically and in an unscripted fashion. In other words, you can play through the game again without knowing where the enemies are going to jump out from. I want to be afraid to play it alone at night. I want children who play it punished with endless nightmares!
Another thing Capcom, with online being so popular now and with the success of Left 4 Dead and Dead Island, where the hell is Outbreak File 3?
