Only John Carmack has the heart to give away his awesome code for free :) . This even has Carmack's reverse api and also support 128 channels of positional audio instead of 5.1 audio. I think we might see new generation of developers like Valve,Infinity ward,Treyarch or Crytek after this release.
It's nice to see this happen. Might make up for the awful release of RAGE on the PC.
