Tim is leaving Gamespot too

It seem's like Tim is leaving Gamespot. He is leaving to prove there's something suspicious going on, and Jeff being honest got himself fired apparently.

Gamespot is not 1 year's ago Gamespot. ranking system changed + dumb reviews occur. After the PS3 released, gamespot totaly changed. They are paid by Microsoft

FF7numba16759d ago

lol its lemming/xbot zone over there. i really go there to argue.

aba6759d ago

Enough of that "paid by M$" sh*t.

Gamespot-equals-EGM6759d ago

Who the hell is Tim? Who cares if he leaves? Is he really that important?

This guy is an idiot for quitting, plain and simple. He just gave up a cushy job hundreds of people would love to have.

Oh well, have fun being unemployed.

I exercised my prerogative and stopped visiting gamespot after that Ratchet and Clank review debacle. I won't visit it again until they straighten out there act. I can get plenty of unbiased game news from other sites.

xionpunk6758d ago

@ gamespot=EGM
I think it was an integrity issue. Some people have a problem working in a place that fires people for doing your job, due to pissed off advertisers. I would.

JACKRABBIT6758d ago

That's like me saying you getting paid by SONY.Stop it with your fanboy rant.No good comes of it it just makes you look stupid. Sorry if this offends it's was not my intention. Microsoft did not make kane and lynch. Game on Gamer

lessthanmarcus6758d ago (Edited 6758d ago )

They gave Uncharted an 8. Anyone that has finished that game they can tell you how sick it is. Storyline is awesome, as a shooter it's awesome, and jumping from ledge to ledge couldn't get any better. As for being paid by Microsoft, I highly doubt it. They're just 360 Fanboys. Put these games (like Warhawk) on 360 and they'll automatically become "Editor's Choice"

I could really care less about Gamespot, Gamefaqs or cnet... Or their employees for that matter. I hope they all go under for being so bias and so slanted for the last 2 years. I'm really sick of them tarnishing the overal scores of good games and while I do agree Kane and Lynch is pure CAT SQUIRTS... I do not agree with their halo 3 score and several other scores of theirs... Either too hgh or too low in many cases.

deeznuts6759d ago

What's wrong with gamefaqs? I go there for their ... gamefaqs. Saved my butt a couple of times.

Shaka2K66759d ago

And i dont wish them now nothing but the worst now that they are gone.
nobody is gonna miss yo a$$.

PS3 Limps on and on6759d ago (Edited 6759d ago )

Actually if they are honest, they will get fired from EGM also. Because we all know EGM is in heavy with Microsoft also.

Hell some of there editors even went to go work from them. They are developing games for XBOX 360. Like that idiot Mcdonald? He's developing an RPG or something.

MK_Red6759d ago (Edited 6759d ago )

You've got to be kidding me. Is GS falling apart?
EDIT: I mixed up him with someone else. Who is Tim?

MK_Red6759d ago

Thanks for the link and help :)
Bubbles for you.

Bonsai12146758d ago

"Be creative 99% of the time" – Glen Schofield on how creativity can help fix AAA industry woes

I don't agree with that. I WISH I could agree with that. But buying habits and customer opinions prove otherwise

We've seen developers in the AAA space try new things and ideas. More often than not, the customers aren't willing to give things a chance, or not enough people buy into the project for it to grow.

Creativity works better in the indie space because the budgets, pressures, and expectations aren't the same.

Scissorman44d ago

it's a nice idea and it worked during the PS2/PS3-era when AAA didn't cost hundreds of millions of dollars. smaller budgets and shorter development time left room for more creativity and more risk. a game didn't need to sell 4 million+ copies to break even. things are different now.

This is the guy who bragged about crunching his staff and having them work through the night. Crunch culture has lost more talent and done more damage to the industry than any other factor. Screw him.
