Why couldn't he use even a proper 3d scripting language like Python... Sheesh, look I realize a bunch of you like this game, but Notchs design decisions made this game a shadow of what it could have been...
I mean if you are gonna write the thing in Java, you might as well write it in c++ and have 10x the amount of everything, and instead have the hokey 8bit style be a design decision rather than the very best you could do...
Gasp, darkbasic clones work better than the original thing...
THe game deserves no less than a 10. honestly, one of the most amazing games i've ever played, and still do play.
