i would have to side with him that gamer video game reviews are dumb. its like a driver reviews of a car .cough cough FORD!

Thats the thing with these reviews, htey cant be trusted. some say one thing while users say another

badjournalism5297d ago

Because we all know professional reviewers are totally w/o bias, corruption and blatant trolling.

I can only trust my opinion. When I played oblivion I got bored 5 hours in, but it's still a great game none the less. I found Crysis fun but I stopped half way though the game because of respawning enemies, that alone should have taken away a point off the score

A site that does game reviews doesn't want people to take user reviews seriously. Who would have guessed!!!

In most cases I find an average of user reviews to be better than the so called "professional reviewers".

Pac-man, seriously?! I have no doubt it's a good game but does is really deserve a better rating than Shadow of the Colossus, BioShock, Fallout 3, Mass Effect 2, every Halo game, Portal 2, Batman: Arkham City, Skyrim, Deus Ex, Baldur's Gate, Half-Life 2, etc. etc.

Seriously?!

I don't agree with that. I WISH I could agree with that. But buying habits and customer opinions prove otherwise

We've seen developers in the AAA space try new things and ideas. More often than not, the customers aren't willing to give things a chance, or not enough people buy into the project for it to grow.

Creativity works better in the indie space because the budgets, pressures, and expectations aren't the same.

it's a nice idea and it worked during the PS2/PS3-era when AAA didn't cost hundreds of millions of dollars. smaller budgets and shorter development time left room for more creativity and more risk. a game didn't need to sell 4 million+ copies to break even. things are different now.

This is the guy who bragged about crunching his staff and having them work through the night. Crunch culture has lost more talent and done more damage to the industry than any other factor. Screw him.
