BNR: You know, I haven’t come across too many games that seem to calm my nerves. True, I can sit back, relax, and play Halo for hours on end and not really get all too excited. But with Lightfish, I find that things are a fair bit different.

Joe, Mark & James get together to talk about Mass Effect 3, professional game journalism, Analogue sticks and more.
What games - Mass Effect 3, Fifa 12, Lightfish, Virtua Tennis 4, Drainworks, Dead Space 2, Lord of the rings - war in the north, Scribblenauts remix

Trendy Gamers: I have to admit that I had never downloaded a single game in the Xbox Live Indie section until this year. Microsoft really doesn’t do a good job of marketing any of the Indie games and they are even quite difficult to find on the dashboard (especially with the new update). It truly is a shame that they are so hard to find because for just $1, you can get some great gaming experiences.

Trendy Gamers: I couldn’t believe how much fun I ended up having with LightFish. What started out as a frustrating, hard to learn game that I couldn’t get the hang of soon became one of the most fun and rewarding gaming experiences I’ve had all year.
I didn't mention it in the review but an iOS version of the game is currently in the works.
