Lol, now that everyone who wants to play it has and got bored of it, it is ready for launch. Maybe I am over-doing it a bit, but everyone I know that used to play minecraft has already moved on.

Anyway, congrats to the dev for succeeding in a niche market.

They should of never done pre releases...

I don't know why though but even with the pre releases....it still feels like it's missing something you don't get that feeling when you play Terraria after they have an update, speaking of which, the new BIG update looks amazing and packed with features...............thats how you do it notch.

Terraria has objectives and bosses and has since day one. Plus it is easier to build your place in a 2D space than it is in a 3D space. (at least when doing it the hard way by actually playing it)

I think if there were objectives and bosses and stuff like that MineCraft would appeal to more people.

Your right I really dont know a single PC owner that has not played this and has now moved on.

Console owners on the other hand are a different story and this game is going to make a killing on the Xbox.

caboose325326d ago

Why is it a different story on consoles?

It already sold over 4 million on pc and that number is still growing.

I've been playing minecraft for the last 6 months and still play it to this day.

Minecraft has sold over 4 million units and the number is increasing.

The complete and final build will offer more things than the Beta plus epic DLC content.

Minecraft.....this is only the beginning.

My 6-year-old is going to be very happy. I think my 11-year-old is bored already. :)

I used to buy cheap games thinking I’d play them later, but I always ended up returning to my favorites. Now I skip the deals unless I know I’ll play the game soon.

This is very true, my nephews grew up on these two games and whenever I introduce them a AAA game whether old or new, it's like seeing an alien try to make sense of it and then quickly lose interest in it.

Can’t really expect a 8 year old Roblox kid to go buy resident evil 9 lol

Gaming trends are so weird to me now. Like, I’m old school and games were consumed essentially how movies were. You play through a title and look forward to the sequel or other things that came out. Now, that is so not the norm.
