Eh, I think some people are just not cut out for a game like Battlefield. It has a lot to draw people to it but if all they are coming to the game for is the chance to fly a jet or drive a tank and generally just blow stuff up, they are missing the heart of the series which is teamwork on multiple levels on a battlefield that is not just limited to infantry. While I do understand playing and ranking up in the higher ranks is just basically for the number, and maybe they should have strung the weapon unlocks out a lot more, but the expansions will be adding some new weapons to progress with. The idea of gold tanks is simply laughable to veteran Battlefield players and I think we can do without face paint and weapon skins and other things that aren't even noticeable at the ranges most engagements take place at in BF3 with the exception of the smaller infantry maps, which seem to be less popular with everyone I've talked to.
Why do people continue to use SOCOM: Confrontation images for BF3 news? That just ruins any credibility an article may have had when I see that.
