If you’ve picked up a copy of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception this week, and have been playing it a good amount, you may have run into a very alarming glitch. In chapter 19 of the game, Drake finds himself stuck in an impossible firefight to win. Just when he thinks it’s over for him, horsemen ride in, a cut scene ensues where they take out the soldiers, and Drake soon finds himself riding through the village on horseback. However, many players have been experiencing a glitch where the cut scene does not occur, and instead 2 horsemen are locked into a horse running animation.
This glitch makes it impossible for the cut scene to occur, meaning you basically cannot progress in the story. Fixing this glitch is not always a walk in the park either.
Former Naughty Dog artist Gabriel Betancourt explains why the "sweet spot" for game teams is under 200 people and how AAA "factories" kill creativity.
There’s definitely some truth to this. When teams get too large, coordination starts to outweigh creativity—layers of approval, risk aversion, and tight deadlines can turn bold ideas into “safe” ones. Keeping a team under ~200 people sounds ideal for maintaining clear communication and a shared vision. That said, massive AAA projects also come with huge technical demands and expectations, so scaling up isn’t always avoidable. The real challenge is figuring out how to keep that small-team creativity alive inside big studio structures.

The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) is proud to announce that Evan Wells, former Co-President of Naughty Dog and one of the most respected studio leaders in modern game development, will be honored with a prestigious Hall of Fame Award. Wells’ induction will take place at the 29th annual D.I.C.E. Awards on February 12, 2026, at the Aria Resort in Las Vegas. Neil Druckmann, a longtime collaborator from Naughty Dog, will present Wells with his Hall of Fame Award live at the ceremony.
Neil Druckmann, the creative director of The Last of Us, is working on a new, unannounced game at Naughty Dog.
Wait I thought they cancelled a game? Or did they announce another project?

I'm getting used to a glitch or two in kinect games but that doesn't mean that the games aren't super a to the m awesome.
um hardly game breaking if all you have to do is restart your ps3 not like some other games, like the AC:B glitch last year where you had to restart the game if you got stuck at a closed tunnel in the fast travel :p
Never happened to me
Honestly people are starting to take this game apart so they can write something negative about it and gain hits.
It's amazing...who cares, bugs/glitches are in every game. Oblivion was full of them but it's still an amazing game.
Reload the checkpoint, problem solved.
