My computer came with Vista and it's fine I guess. It's annoying as hell though how many times I have problems installing something and someone says "oh, do you have vista?".

Q) take the iPod. Rip out the style, the functionality, the looks, the inspiration, and what do you have?

A) Zune.

Here's what I have to say. Recently, as of July 2007, I purchased a new computer with Vista. I knew it was going to have start-up issues and compatibility. So here's what I did. I duel installed Vista and XP and I couldn't be happier. But wait if Vista is so great why would you duel boot. My reasoning may not be perfect but basically here's how I approach it. I used vista for most networking situations (i.e. online gaming, routing), gaming, and surfing the net. I use XP for writing, business applications and running Visual Studio 2005 for my Compsc class at Penn State. So really I can't complain about what I've got going in my room because I get the best of both worlds. But be patient for SP1. I sure many issues will be addressed.

I have Vista running on my laptop and aside from some Zbrush and graphics card driver issues it's pretty decent. And yeah XP sucked when it first came out as well, they get it right in time. I'm so glad my folks said "no" when I was begging for that barcode battler back in the day, I already had a Gameboy and a Game Gear at the time alongside 4 consoles (genesis, nes, snes, and tg16) and they said that was enough. Thank goodness, that thing sucked and I would have stopped playing it in 2 days.

The Jaguar controller still looks like a phone, and I don't know how anyone could have played on it. Weren't their codes like phone numbers too? They're right about Tamagotchis too, I hated those things then and I still hate them now. My cousin and I used to reset his brother's everyday because he got sickening with it.

but the problem of microsoft was...since the beggining of win vista MS wanted to put it in all new computers...when the XP was realeased...we had the time to get used to it... i remember when i've got my 1st pc it came with win millennium and XP was already out... and then when i thought it was the right time i've upgrade for XP...and the same thing with vista...

i'm very happy with vista now, it is faster than xp, much more advance than the XP and don't crash like XP... cus i just use my computer for work...games...i have a console!

I think Microsoft should have hold on the release for at least six months from the date it was released. Because this six months will make most New Pcs more powerful and therefore have no problems with vista. However, I believe Vista is one of the top ten things that happened to technology this decade..

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.

Is this like the 10th quarter in a row they're down 33% on hardware how is that even mathematically possible. You would think their mediocrity would Plateau
