Was just playing Alan Wake.

This is a prime example of a game that's on the wrong platform. This game would have sold a million on PS3.

But now it won't.

The XBLA line for next year is looking amazing. MS should really consider spending more money on advertising for online titles, like some adds for TV, magazine ads, soda promotions. They got a couple potential million dollar sellers lined up

This is probably that Night Springs XBL deal. I'm sure we are in for more Alan Wake in the way of a sequel as well though. Microsoft paid quite a bit of money locking up 3 games from Remedy and I expect they will want their monies worth.

Alan Wake is now well over 1 million units sold, which is a success. Also it has garnered all kinds of awards, even GOTY from Time Magazine. I believe a full, new retail release of Alan Wake 2 could sell between 2-5 million copies easily. Often times a game franchise wont hit it's stride until the sequel. So I have high expectations on anything with Alan Wake.

As long as it isn't more walking around in the woods I'll be happy. I really loved the game but my favorite parts became walking around the town itself or the power plant.

Personally I would have liked a full retail game, but I enjoyed Alan Wake so much. One of my favorite ever games.

Who knows? Maybe the XBLA will have so much potential :)

Hey, better than nothing. I was really playing for the story anyway. Can't wait to hear more.

Nice let's hope it comes out quicker and is better than the last game. Alan Wake was a good game, but I didn't find it scary at all. Hopefully they come up with a scarier premise this time around.

Hmm, I forgot I had the 1st game, never got around to finishing it cause I kept getting bored. By the way, I bought it for like $1.85 as a download from amazon...I guess I should go back to it at some point.

Why waste money on a game where Alan Wake isn’t in it for a good part of the game. Also, since you don’t own the game and they can cut you off at anytime why would you buy that many. Unless she was going to resell them for a profit, charity give away, or something like that.

What an idiot, the cards don't activate unless you scan them at a register. Did she really think stores would leave thousands of dollars on kiosks for the taking? LOL
