I'm not sure if I like it. It looks good as a game, but not as a Devil May Cry game. I don't understand why the had to make this reboot. It would have worked better as a new IP.

Ninja Theory can't get a break: First nobody bought Heavenly Sword, then nobody bought Enslaved, and now everybody is hating on this project. They should just make a sequel to Heavenly Sword; people is asking for it, and it would have a good chance of selling since there are more PS3s.

Why is it the more I see this game, the more I feel I could be ever so slightly interested in it if it wasn't DMC? It by no means looks bad as a game on it's own, but it looks like a horrible DMC game. I can see how some (non-DMC fans) would see this and be a bit enthralled, but I really don't see the draw for long time Dante fans. I hope it doesn't catch on strictly because I wanna see Vergil and Dante have an epic finish, which this will most defiantly not give me.

I love this trailer. Like everyone else though...I wish they'd call it something besides DMC. :/

It looks interesting enough. I'm still skeptical, and I still hate the look of the new Dante, but the action looks solid.

The trailer is nice. If this was a new IP I would definitely be interested but this just doesn't match up to the older dmcs.

Also the delivery on his lines "Ebony...Ivory..I missed you girls" was really poorly done, I was expecting much more attitude considering what Ninja Theory said they were aiming for.

The animations are terrible, the aesthetics are generic and the gameplay seems bland as hell.

DMC4 was not a perfect game but it was miles ahead of this sad attempt of a game.

Gameplay wise I dont doubt it will be oki... Everything else not so much. The new dante just doesnt give that vibe of how a DMC game should give you. Maybe this could be a start to something they could work on but from what is seen now this dante just isnt going to cut it.

I hope Ninja Theory will be the next ones.
The game doesn't look good (see what Batman: Arkham City achieved with the same engine), the action is slow and the music sucks major balls.
Without mentioning a glorious brand...this game sucks on its own.

I'm willing to give it a chance IF they at least make it playable at 60fps. 30fps for a hack-n-slash game is just not responsive enough.

Loving the new Dante. The character design and art direction of the last games was the only reason I didnt like them. This should fix that.

To those fond of claiming the new Dante design is 'emo':

i've been a fan of capcom since capcom was born.loved their games until i found out who the players behind the scenes were.and capcom gave them(CLOVER STUDIOS) the heave ho and kicked them to the curb.then capcom became mine enemy.the only game i bought from them this gen was bionic commando rearmed and that's all they deserved out of my wallet.

capcom has lied this gen about exclusivity.they have nickel and dimmed gamers for things that should be on disc.but microsoft made it easy for them to shaft gamers by not including it on a big fricken disc like bluray is because of their dumb @ss dvd not being big enough.

they have added DRM where you can't play an OFFLINE game unless you have an internet connection.they have passed on easy money by not porting RE remake,RE zero or updating RE2(the best).

but to make things worse,they have destroyed my faith in them even more by dragging DANTE and DMC down into the gutter.i own the action figures,the games,the manga,etc.and this ATROCITY will not be bought by me.not a chance.and using unreal engine was a sh!tty move.

i went back a week ago and played DMC 1.the castlevania feeling you get from the game and shinji and hideki's style is just second to none.F#ck scamcom/crapcom this gen.they have truly hit bottom.

i want ninja theory to go all out and make this completely their own. change as much as possible 4 this awesome reboot. i want more crazy art direction and great voice acting as only ninja theory can do! i dont want this to remind me of dmc 2-4 in any way. those games are sooo bad. sorry but you fans can go play the hd collection, ill be playing this day one. i love change. the game looks great and im glad capcom basically told all you dweebs to go suck it :) dmc needs this desperately

I actually enjoyed that trailer. The way that parts of the buildings were popping out and everything looking bizzare. I think this is going to be a good game regardless of what it's trying to do.

I know the majority of people on here will get it even though they are complaining. Why else would there be almost 50 comments lol. Pretty sure if people were going to bash a game because it was terrible, I am pretty sure there wouldn't be this many comments. There are plenty of other articles and vids on N4G.

I dont get why everyone is so pissed. This looks like a good game. Dante always had a emo style, his hair is just shorter and black. The gameplay looks like's more refined, so it wont be a button smasher.

And, in my opinion, those scnearios look really, really great. Twisted, dynamic, colorful... I'll give it a try. After all, it's not like I'm on love with Dante as everyone here seems to.

Am i the only one who noticed the old Dante (white hair, red clothes ) Sequences?

Looks decent. But I'm still of the opinion that a Team Ninja or a Platinum Games should have been given the franchise-rebooting duties.
