
While the recent news of Armored Core's December Japanese release was somewhat disappointing, Bandai Namco has stepped in to give the PS3's launch a mech game of a different flavor. The company announced today that Mobile Suit Gundam: Target in Sight will see Japanese release on 11/11, simultaneous with the PS3 hardware. This makes the Bandai Namco title the first confirmed PS3 launch game.
In America, where the game is known as Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire, a specific release date has yet to be given but Namco Bandai has confirmed it for 2006 -- keeping in the PS3 launch window.

Sony Computer Entertainment has announced its new line up for the budget priced PS3 the Best brand. That line-up includes:
Afrika
Uncharted
LittleBigPlanet
Gundam: Target In Sight
Eternal Sonata
Ridge Racer 7
All these games will be out on September 3 for the equivalent of US$31 - save for Eternal Sonata, which is priced at $39.

Atari today announced the forthcoming European launch of Mobile Suit Gundam: Target in Sight, scheduled for release in March 2007 on the PLAYSTATION 3. Published by NAMCO BANDAI GAMES Europe and distributed in Europe by Atari, the title is part of the next-generation console's European launch line up.
I hope for Europe's sake this is a much better game.....but something tells me its not gonna be.

Resistance, Motorstorm and Fatal Inertia, and even sonic and RR7, heck most of the launch is fantastic, get the first 3 and you'll be fine but you wouldn't go wrong getting the other games either
but EU is still out of the launch............and that kinda sucks for those ppl who want it this YEAR!
