Top five insane video game characters

Kane & Lynch: Dead Men is out today in the UK. The game has taken its share of criticism, but it does have something that clearly makes it stand out from all the others. The characters are among the strongest – not to mention most violent – ever seen in video game narrative. Lynch, is a medicated psychopath; add in numerous blackouts and hallucinations and you've got yourself one messed up puppy.

In celebration of its debut, PSPSPS cobbled together a list of their favourite video game loonies who can give Lynch a run for his money in the dangerously unstable stakes. Beware, there are some minor SPOILERS, so full list is tucked away on the turn:

Yakuza Live-Action Miniseries Debuts March 17 Exclusively on IGN

A three-episode live-action adaptation of the first two Yakuza video games will debut Tuesday, March 17 exclusively IGN. Each episode is about an hour long and will stream on IGN.com and IGN’s YouTube channel.
