This game doesn`t look better than ninja gaiden on the xbox!

I do believe this game is going to be great but I'm getting a little tired of seeing the same area of pics. It's the same with the trailers, for a year I haven't seen anything different to say that the game has improved. But if there is a game that I want if I buy a PS3 than this is definitely one of those games.

Pic 12, Is she dropping the blade in her left hand or is it not in the right place (her hand)? You would think they could do a more realistic hair.
Hopefully they polish this game until it shines brighter than the gold the "king" is wearing, it has a lot of potential.

Is everyone so overly critical with PS3 games? It seems that everyone picks out the smallest things to make the game seem negative... 1. The game is still in development 2. If this game looks like it can be done on PS2 and XBOX hardware then what see you same gamers saying about current 360 games? 3. I think this game look very pretty graphiclly!! The artistic style of the game is very unique! 4. I'm sure they aren't going to share the entire game with is now when TGS is days away!

My point is that if your going to be overly critical that fine but at least be fair and do it across the board!!

Your reply is exactly what I'm talking about! Why is the sword picture such a big part of us looking and making opinions of this game? For example look on the 360 side and look for some of the same people who post here and compare how they analize and critize PS3 games vs. 360 games. What you will notice is that one console gets critized more heavily than the other! That is my point! You see how everyone automatically puts the price difference at 200 when its clear its not! I'm not saying that people see wrong for their opinions, I'm saying its just way to unfair that every single news article get negative response from the same people daily. Its like the same people absolutly nothing good about any and every PS3 game? Is that a true statement? That's depends on your own point of view. I'm just telling everyone what I see. Take GOW for example thus far the hype for this game is through the roof and any 360 fanboy will tell you it has no flaws but how much have we really seen and how much do we really know about the game? Can GOW really have no flaws? Of course I think its graphically stunning but to be the AAA title some gamers have prematurly labeled it as, it must be more than a pretty game. I think the sheer artistic aspect of the game is simply stunning and I have been following Heavenly Sword very closely so I know that the game is a whole lot more than what's in these screenshots. Basiclly all I'm saying is just be fair!

I do see your argument about Sony and the PS3 but what does that have to do with this game or anyother game that isn't 1st party? Sonys promises have nothing to do with the games the developers see trying to make which do have and offer new next gen gaminging experiences? Such as motorstorm, Lair or heavenlly sword, RFOM? These are games that are trying to exceed expectations so why do you bash these games just because you hate Sony? PS2 had and has great games inclucding the one that are coming example FF12! I don't hear anyone putting MS or Nintendo to the same standards as Sony and that just isn't fair. On a side I do own a 360 just incase you feel I'm talking out of my arse!

It's stupid to compare this to GOW, they are totally different genre, HS is faster, has much more going on sreen at once etc. Why some even bring that game up??? Compare this to N3 if something.

Those will carry me over easily into next year.

Resistance is going to KILL GOW, talk about AI, 22 Gigs worth of game people, GOW isnt even in the same league. I saw the gameplay of GOW, its okay, nothing special. Its obvious they are taking the doom approach, really really DARK, so it doesnt push the 360 beyond its limits. I bet it will be short also.

As for the game, someone already pointed out that these screens are very,very old as they do look extremely bad and I have seen the e3 06 videos of the gameplay and it certainly looks better than this. How the game will turn out remains to be seen and if there is a game to compare it to then it would be N3,Dynasty warriors, Samurai Warriors nothing else as it is aiming for the same kind of premise.
In regards to GOW, (sry to go off topic)contrary to fanboy remarks on both sides this game will be very good at the very least. I do not know whether the frequent visitors on this site knew that back in early 2005 when EPIC presented their first dev kit for the Unreal Engine 3 they have used the exact same models (locust hordes and city landscape from GOW) to show it off. Does anyone here really believe that EPIC is going to turn this into a pile of crap??

honestly the pics dont look that much better than ps2 graphics and if thats how there gonna stay then im very dissapointed in the ps3 :(

i just like how you do the buttom matching for the arial attack, like the stealth kills in price of persia two thrones. im sure the game has gotten a lot better since these old as# screens which were from the frist trailer i think.i hope they have larger scaled battle grounds, cus this one seens too confined. Use the blu ray capacity people r takin about. o and this game has some sick counter attacks.

if they realy want to sell this they should make it ultra violent will limbs bieng sliced off and lots of enviromental interaction. The characters need to be more diverse all of the enimies look exactly the same. same height build, skin color, additudes. common this is next gen do somthing new.

I’m beating a dead horse here… but Resisitance FOM gun lay out was so fun, multiplayer was one of my top favorite experiences. Insomniac nailed it and I would love a remaster and maybe a redo with Reisistance 2. They listens to players who were wanting a Halo killer and it kind of lost its character from the first.

Warhawk, if they had just remade the first one not Starhawk which offered nice things like the build and battle.. but Warhawk was the best arcade shooter I ever played. Back when you didn’t have battle passes and you actually had to get certain amount of kills or ribbons to unlock different paint skins on the Warhawks and armor for your player.. Look at the success of Helldivers 2, it’s a fun game and it reminds me of Warhawk in a way. I’ve been wanting a remake or sequel since the beginning of the ps4 gen.. it’s hurts to have hope nowadays. Even with the demise of the studios Sony has a steady fan base.

Killzone game after Killzone 2 play style would be nice

Motorstorm would be epic with the visual upgrade, maybe this game would be a harder sell with the genre being not as popular nowadays..

Resistance franchise, Motorstorm and Dirt 2 which was fun as heck. Add Dead Space 2 as well.

PS3 ended up been a beast of a console, slow out of the gate, picked up steam, smashed through the finish line. The 1st PS3 slim is still one of my favourite consoles. So solid, great games, by the time GTA5 and the last of us had come out it was a clear winner for me

Sorry bud, but the PS3 generation was amazing and featured the greatest console comeback in history.

That said, I'd love it if Warhawk returned or Metal Gear Solid 4. It needs to not be shackled to the PS3 generation anymore. A Killzone 2 remake would be insane with modern graphics and that art direction.

I really miss this gen of gaming. It felt like the last truly "great" era for videogames before the modern approach really took hold.

The PS3 was such a glorious console. The UI, the games, the free online...just incredible.

I would pay good money for a Warhawk remake. Socom too. The last Socom game just didn’t do it justice. Folklore could use a remaster or remake as well.
Several other titles I would like to remade with the amount of visual fidelity the current gen has over the past consoles it could help articulate the games that we’ve loved growing up. I would love even some ps2 titles to remade.. Dark Cloud from ps2, Legacy of Kain series but don’t know what will come of it sense it was bought by Embracer group and all there layoffs.

This strategy is exactly what helped ruin Xbox. Sony more than Microsoft know when to let a franchise go and that is important to keep things fresh. The old games are there if you want to play them.

Resistance series and Killzone 2 & 3 remasters/remakes. Make it happen. They will print money.

FF13 is top of this list for me. No matter your opinion on it, it being the only numbered offline FF out of all 16 not to be on new consoles is odd. GTA IV would be great too

The only reason my PS3 is still connected is because of the Resistance, Heavenly Sword, Motorstorm games that I still love to play. I am for remaking or remastering them.

Why remaster games that ps5 players can't access when you can remaster a 4 year old game like tlou2 that was already patched with ps5 improvements

Remasters are a waste of time and developer resources. Real Devs make new games.

God I would live a Killzone or Resistance collection. Really hoping for a new one in either franchise down the line, loved both series.
